WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Cameo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Cameo, a beautiful name for a beautiful gal like me. I have the sweet natured attitude that will make me a great family addition. At 2 years old, I'm also at a great age where as I'm still playful but way past that destructive puppy stage. That sure makes for a nice combo for my new family. Oh and another nice thing...I'm already house trained too!! I have an amazing tiger striped pattern in my coat and show stopping amber colored eyes which make for a stunning combo!! My hairytage of the Mountain Cur and the Plott hound makes for the beautiful swirling stripe pattern of my coat, a genetic characteristic. My personality is sweet, sweet, sweet and I am very human oriented. I love giving and getting kisses and spending time with my people. Also, for a medium sized dog of 55ish lbs, I am a great snuggler!! I will wrap myself around my Foster Mum and delight in the attention!! I will stay there snuggling for as long as she has time! I walk well on leash and know how to sit and stay. I have great focus and pay attention really well. I am a people pleaser and will try to do whatever it takes to make you happy!! I get on well with most all other doggies and enjoy romping in the yard getting a good game of keep away or tag you're it going but I LOVE hoomans and haven't met a stranger yet, I'm pretty sure everyone is here just to give me lots of lovins!! :) I'm a great size to make you a pawsome action adventure type companion, whether it's going for neighborhood strolls, camping trips or hikes in the wilderness, I'm willing and ready! And then after our fun, I love my beloved snuggles by the fireplace (on the couch is fine too). I'm up for trying it all with...YOU!! If you are looking for a "dog of a different color", then look no further!! I for sure want to be your gal!!

Story
This gal has been at the shelter since she was a day old. Her momma was in an abandoned house and brought to us during the snowstorms in January. She and her sister are the last 2 babies to find homes. She will probably be around 45lbs when full grown as that’s what her mama is, we have no idea about the dad. Alyssa is a bit more shy around new people. She likes to play but will take a little time to warm up to her new family. She gets along with other dogs her size, she hasn’t been around too many larger dogs. She will need all the basic puppy training as she’s still young. She is a sweet gal who’s patiently waiting for a forever family.

Story
Asha’s owners loved her but had a farm, and she had a taste for the owner's chickens and chose to surrender her. Asha is high-energy and loves to play, but also loves her snuggles and being with people. She has tested well with dogs, but due to her prey drive towards chickens, we are hesitant to suggest a home with small animals/cats. Asha is heartworm-negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home. This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org If approved, we will facilitate a virtual meet and greet and answer any questions you may have. We partner with the awesome transport service company Rescue Riders to safely and professionally move our animals to their loving new homes

Story
Happy wagging puppy tails are all the rage with this sweet and totally adorable 5-month-old black mouth cur litter. Joyful and happy, any one member of this litter is a unique treasure. With full curiosity and ambition, these pups dream big. They are one step closer to finding their happily ever after and they are allowing the excitement of the journey lead them to their destination. Our boy Hopper has grown up in rescue and since the tender age of 2 months old. He and his siblings were found in rough shape. With time, dedication and TLC, he flourished. That was step one of his journey. Looking back is not an option for Hopper, and either is growing up and getting bigger. He is around 30 pounds, and it is estimated that he will be a large size boy of over 60 pounds when fully grown. With lots of good times ahead of him, Hopper does not waste any time with making friends. He does well with other dogs, kids and adults. When you are a friend to Hopper, you are a friend for life. He has not been introduced to a cat since his time in rescue so he remains undecided if he will entertain a relationship of the feline persuasion. His unknowns are a small piece to the bigger picture. His fun play side to his rest and relaxation side is what make Hopper a fun boy and a great canine to be around. He will liven up any day with playtime activities and the sky is the limit for him. Around every corner Hopper is sure to be a bright spot in the heart of his family. He is working on his house, crate and leash walking skills and is eagerly waiting her triumph to show her family how a great canine companion can acclimate to a home environment. He knows that he will be proud of his accomplishments as well as his family. As with all puppies, Hopper is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion. He has lots of ambition, lots of charm and, more importantly, lots of love. Hopper is ready to break down the barriers, open up the flood gates and make his way into the loving arms of his forever family. The adoption fee for Hopper is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Story
On March 29th of this year 2024, our beautiful Lumina gave birth to 12 puppies and raised everyone of them to a place that they are now seeking adoptions.  Every0ne of these precious babies survived because of the great love and mothering skills of this Mountain Cur mix girl.  We call her Lumina because she illuminates the world with her kind spirit and sweetness.  When you look into her eyes you see a connection of love and hope. Lumina was a stray and discovered by a woman in Tennessee right at the time that she was almost ready to give birth.  Lumina has a calm spirit and someone will be so lucky to have her as their very own.  She has some anxiety about being left alone but with time she will come to understand that she will not be abandoned by new family.   She is housebroken pretty much and easy going and goes with the flow within a family’s lifestyle rhythm.   She is loving, adaptable, gorgeous and kind.   Gets along with all other creatures and loves the 4 year old toddler in the family.  A busy little boy who she loves to see.   If you interested in this girl please let us know and we will be so happy to send you an application if you email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Please also tell us where you live:  city and state.  We are in Nashville, TN but we also transport northward from Tennessee to New England and stop in 5 states on our route northward.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Story
Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life.  This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds.  He is slim and  sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies.   This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person.  This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise.  He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.   If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Story
This beautiful girl will knock your socks off if you run into her on the street. Never have we seen a dog with such beautiful brindle coloring and gorgeous blue eyes. Beautifully Bailey is all we can say when we think of her. She was found last Thanksgiving 2023 abandoned at a gas station out in the Midwest. Her Foster mom was traveling and she took Bailey in to give her a second chance at life since she knew a gas station could mean the end of her life. She cannot be a long-term adopted dog at this home. We are helping this kind Samaritan to find Beautifully Baily the right place where she can live out her life with a fenced in yard as a place to release her energy. For goodness sake a girl's gotta run off those calories to keep her girlish figure and mental health at tip top shape. This girl always has a smile and is in the best mood ever she's an all-round great dog she loves to chew on good things so keep plenty of chew toys around so they aren't your pieces of furniture or shoes or socks. Bailey is pretty much house trained but could use a little bit of help and tolerance. Occasionally she has an excited pee when her Foster family comes in to greet her.  She is not around her foster family a lot since they are so busy with their schedule and work. This limited attention to her brings out a submissive excitement that has her pee in submission.  It can be easily remedied with more attention from a different owner with time for her. We want a family that will walk her. take her to training classes and  continue to socialize her with other dogs and people. She's a stupendous creature.  If you're looking for something unique, smart and special, trainable and ready to absorb what you give her, then please consider Beautifully Bailey. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and ask for an adoption form or answers to any of your questions. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 8:06 am

Story
Meet Noah!!!! This handsome young guy was found in Mississippi walking the streets looking for help. Nobody wanted to help him, until this nice woman saw him and called the shelter. Noah never got reclaimed, so Fetching Hearts Rescue came to his rescue. Noah is shy when he first meets you, but does warm up and become an amazing boy. He loves to play with other dogs. He is submissive when playing. Noah will make a great buddy or active partner. He will go on walks with you, hang out in the backyard, run around with his friends or snuggle up in the evenings and watch TV with you. Noah is such a wiggle butt even though his little nub of a tail is there. He enjoys his toys and bones. We recommend training as we don't have a back history on him and he is working on his commands. He is food motivated, so that should not be too hard to teach him in a class. Don't miss out on this sweet, handsome and happy boy. Noah cannot wait to meet his forever friend, or family soon. Apply for him today to make him a part of your forever family.
