Make sure to let us know you saw Bishop on Adopt-a-pet. Bishop is a shutdown pup, his humans failed him in every way. It has only been a couple days, but he is making progress with a few staff members, and he loves other dogs. Bishop has a long way to go before he will be holding his head up high, trusting that every movement you make will not be coming at him, and overall being comfortable with new things. Bishop needs a hero.

Story
Luna is a very sweet 2 1/2 Year old 67 lb dog. She is completely potty trained and knows sit, shake and high five. She is great with babies, kids and other dogs. She goes to the dog park and daycare and is loved by everyone. She does have separation anxiety and is on Fluoxetine . She is crate trained if you lead her to it on a leash. We need to rehome her due to my geriatric mother with Parkinsons having to move in with us. When Luna thinks someone is leaving she jumps on them to stop them and we cant risk her knocking over grandma. We think she would be really great in a home with another dog to help with her anxiety. We will include her crate, bed, toys, food, meds, treats, shot records, DNA results, leashes and collars. Adoption fee is for safety reasons and will be donated to Livingston County Animal shelter.

Story
This is Edgar; he's approximately one year old. Edgar was found as a puppy in Detroit along with several siblings who ended up needing medical attention due to bites/sores etc. I adopted Edgar and one of his brothers from that litter. Edgar had a few large bite marks on his back and was overall more nervous at baseline than his brother. He occasionally acts skittish and shields away from new situations, but does very well with reassurance. Edgar unfortunately developed littermate syndrome and has tried to dominate his brother to the point of injury. The difficult decision was made to rehome him. Edgar is a fantastic dog; he absolutely loves people and enjoys meeting everyone from the mailman to the vet. He likes car rides, playing fetch etc. He gets along well with cats as well as other dogs at the dog park. He is medium to lower energy and does not appear to have the separation anxiety that his brother displays. He does well with basic commands and is very treat motivated.

Story
This beautiful girl was found at approximately 6 months old by an employee at a neighboring shop yard. At the time I was able to give her safe harbor (roof, food, and love), but I lost my 2nd job and could not afford to spay her after her first heat. She will let you know she wants to go outside, but she still has accidents inside. Occasionally a tinkle when she is excited and in play mode, and sometimes a poo, but that is much rarer. I work full time so I don't blame her being so young and not getting the training and attention she needs. She is so beautiful and so very loving. She plays well with other dogs, but older dogs tend to lose their patience with her so that is cautionable. She has never been around cats or small children so I have no idea how she would behave. She is not food aggresive, but she will misunderstand running as play/tackle time. I've never known her to bite in a vicious way. I'm facing eviction and need a home fast.

Story
Make sure you let us know you saw Bruno on Adopt-a-pet.*In a foster home, call for meet/greet* Talk about a lug head, this big guy was found as a stray by a vet tech who tried to find his owner. With no luck he ended up at the shelter. Bruno quickly showed us what a ham he is, he's quite the crooner too! Bruno does bark to get your attention and when he's excited. This smart pup knows sit, shake, down, he comes when called, enjoys walks (he's strong), loves to romp around the yard, loves to "fish" out of the pool, and has done well with the canine friends he's met, he will not share toys and shows some possessiveness of them. Bruno is a big boy, with a big heart, he loves everyone. We say no small children due to his size and tendency to chew up toys. If you've been looking for a a big pup that doesn't require a lot of work make sure to visit with Bruno Mars!
