Story
I'm Vegas, a 9-month-old Bulldog mix with a naturally bobbed tail. I came up from the South with my littermates; I have the markings and tail of the OEB and the DNA test agrees. I'm doing great in my foster home -- I'm housetrained and very smart and attentive. My foster mom says I'm a delight in the home because I'm very well behaved, I settle easily, and I am so affectionate! I've also started attending playdates, and I'm excellent with other dogs: I'm so excited to meet new friends that I can be a "bull in a china shop" when you first meet me. But I'm calm in the house, foster promises! I take cues and corrections from older dogs well. Doggy Dates, the company that runs the playdates said, "Vegas was observed to have a great temperament and disposition, and he did well within the group setting. All social interactions with the other dogs were friendly and appropriate. We'd love to have him in on the fun!" Story
I’m Vibe, an 8-month-old Lab mix who came to Save A Dog with my littermates. My mother was a Lab, and I have speckles like an Aussie. I love to run and play; I enjoy outdoor adventures but have also done well in my foster home, which was more low-key. I'm crate trained and house trained, and I ride well in the car. I'm very people-focused, and when some Boy Scouts visited, I loved interacting with them and was very gentle taking treats. I'm taking some puppy classes right now, and I already know "sit" and "down" and am working on "place"! I'm smart and learn quickly. Story
Roo is a dog who needs an experienced adopter who has the patience to get to know her before adopting her. Roo had a traumatic puppyhood and was attacked by the neighborhood dogs when she was 1, this resulted in a lot of anxiety for her. She is very obedient and knows sit, stay, paw, down, place and crate. She is great on leash and rarely pulls. She has fantastic recall and can walk with you without a leash in remote areas with no issues. Roo is wary of strangers and strange dogs. She has bit before (very minor, usually doesn't break skin) but hasn't bit in 3 years. We describe Roo's personality as a cat. She can be lovable, but it's on her own terms, she does not like it when you give her affection when she's not in the mood and she will let you know with a grumble. But when she is in the mood for cuddles she charges at you butt first for scratches. Once people understand her boundaries, she is a very low maintenance dog with no health issues.
