Story
Meet Daisy! Daisy is about 5 months old, 23 lbs, and she may have some cattle dog in her mix! She was a stray. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, crate-training and leash-walking. She could live with other dogs and kids 5+. Cats are unknown. Her foster says, "She is definitely house trained. Only 2 accidents ever since she's been with me. She crates great. She still gets nauseous in the car but not nearly as much as the beginning. She has learned Sit, Down, Paw, Touch and we are working on her Come recall. She used to try to counter surf a lot but is becoming much better with that!! She enjoys playing with other dogs once she warms up to them, usually she ignores another dog or doesn't show much interest in them her first few interactions. She absolutely LOVES children and I am shocked how gentle she is (I have nieces and nephews ranging in age 2-9 and she is great with all of them). She has enjoyed going to the local brewery with me a few times and settles great. We still haven't met any cats but may get the chance to at my work!"She is available for adoption in Hopkinton by appointment. Story
Meet Gilmore! Gilmore is about 1.5 years old, 42 lbs, and he may have some Cattle Dog in his mix! He was part of a large scale confiscation, and several of his siblings have already been adopted to rave reviews. In his foster home, he is doing great with his house-training, is not a fan of crate-training and doing great with leash-walking. He could live with other dogs, dog-savvy cats, and kids 10+. His foster says, "Gilmore is ready to be your new walking or hiking partner! He has mastered his leash skills and the highlight of his day is a nice walk at the local park! He has learned that car rides equal fun adventures and sometimes tasty treats! He loves playtime with pups around his same size with nice medium energy. He also love toys he can chew on safely and has the cutest dance he does when playing with a ball..picture how a cat bats at a ball mixed with full body wiggling! He is adorable and also loves snuggles with his humans. He will bury his head into you while soaking up all the love you can give him. He's not a huge fan of crates but if exercised first he will usually settle in for a nap in his crate while you run errands for a bit as he's still leaning that shoes are not chew toys! He had no accidents in our house while he's been with us! Most of all he's been such a joy to have with us..he's been the perfect blend of playful and loving! Someone is going to get a great pup with this sweet boy!"He is available for adoption in Hopkinton by appointment with an approved adopter.
