Story
LooLoo is a 3-year-old, 35-pound cattle dog mix with a spirit as strong as her will to overcome. After surviving a traumatic injury that led to the loss of her front leg, she’s ready for a fresh start in a loving home.Though initially shy in new situations, LooLoo blossoms with patience and trust. She thrives in a calm, low-traffic home (adults or older children preferred) and gains confidence from canine companions who match her play style. She’s house-trained, leash-savvy, and adores her crate as a safe retreat. Despite her amputation, she’s quick on her feet and loves outdoor adventures!Smart and food-motivated, LooLoo is eager to learn and share her love. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm-negative. With a daily joint supplement for lifelong comfort, she’s ready to embark on her next chapter.Could you be the one to give this resilient girl the love she deserves?Name: LooLooBreed: Cattle DogSex: FemaleAge: 2-3 years  (estimated)Weight: 35Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  Memphis  TN   IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.Meet LooLoo, a brave little 15-pound cattle dog mix with a true survivor’s spirit! This spunky girl was just minding her business in her yard at a rooming house in Memphis when, in an unfortunate incident, police responding to a call mistook her protective barking for aggression. Without provocation, she was tragically shot in the leg. Fortunately, her owner surrendered her, ensuring she could receive urgent medical attention and a chance at a much brighter future.Despite her injury and eventual amputation, LooLoo hasn’t let it dampen her zest for life. She’s still recovering from surgery, but her resilient spirit shines through, and we hope to fit her with a prosthetic once she's fully healed. PAWS New England will be covering her journey to find mobility and comfort.LooLoo is good with other dogs and would do best in a home with children over 12, as she hasn’t yet been tested with younger kids. She’s ready for a fresh start, a loving home, and the chance to show just how much joy she can bring. Story
Hello, My name is Red. I have two brothers available for adoption, Huck & Finn. Our brother Sammy has been adopted. Our lives began being homeless with our human parents. We (our mom, dad, and siblings) lived in the back seat of a car. This is where we were born. Our human mom worked at Waffle House. Our foster mom went into the WH for breakfast one day and started talking to her waitress about dogs. That began everything. Once our foster mom found out we were living in the backseat of the car, she started pursuing us babies, coming into rescue to get the type of homes we so deserve. So, here we are. I am incredibly handsome, neutered, leash-trained, and house-trained. I love to give hugs and get them, too. My ideal home is one where the family knows heeler herds, loves to go for walks and hikes and is active but enjoys quiet time in front of a fireplace. I am ready to come home. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. When you receive it, complete it thoroughly, including the email addresses of your three references. Story
Hello, my name is Olivia. I came to the rescue with Rex. No one knows where we came from or why we were on the rural stretch of highway. But what is known is that a very kind-hearted widow was coming home when we were spotted. Our rescuer stopped on the shoulder of the highway, opened the back hatch on her car, opened the door of the crate in her car, and then told us to "load up." So, we did. We were blessed to have a rescue lady get us. We love her. Today, we are ready to be adopted. We are not a bonded pair and are happy to be your home's only dog. I, Olivia, am just the happiest girl. I am so sweet and gentle, and I love being with you. I love life and want to please you; everyone is my friend. It would be great for hiking, camping, or going to the beach for a day to play on the shoreline. I am a car rider, dog social, and love humans. But most of all, I love to snuggle. I am ready for the next chapter of my life with YOU. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. Story
Meet Cookie, a spirited senior dog with a zest for life! Despite being about 8 years old, Cookie plays like a puppy and has a boundless love for the outdoors. She enjoys playing with balls, chasing squirrels, and has a special talent for playing soccer all by herself. Cookie was found as a stray in Little Rock, AR, and a kind Samaritan brought her to our rescue group, ArkanPaws. She has been living on our rescue farm for over a year now, and we're eager to find her the forever home she deserves. Cookie is independent and prefers solo play over interacting with other dogs. She has a very high prey drive, so she needs to be in a cat-free household. With her impressive mousing skills, Cookie would make a great addition to a farm, helping keep the rodent population in check. Fully vetted and on heartworm prevention, Cookie is ready to bring joy and excitement to her new home. Her adoption fee is $350, covering the cost of transport from Arkansas to New England. If you're looking for a playful, independent, and energetic companion, Cookie is the perfect match for you! Adopt Cookie and let her playful spirit brighten your days!         4o ##2097442##

Story
Curly is an adorable one-year-old Cattle Dog Mix who is eagerly looking for a forever home. With her calm and quiet demeanor, Curly has won the hearts of everyone she meets. She possesses a loving nature especially once she forms a bond with her human companions. Her foster mom has enjoyed taking care of her and has stated that her company was most endearing. They spend many nights cuddling as the foster works on her computer. Even though her foster mom will miss her, she knows Curly is ready for the next big step in her life in finding a loving family! How did Curly come into the ArkanPaws program? There is a video of her walking across a bridge with several other abandoned dogs in an area known for dumping unwanted pets. The ArkanPaws volunteer returned with live traps and by the next morning she was secured. At first, she was afraid and it took about one week to win her trust. She still is shy when initially meeting strangers but warms quickly when she feels safe.  One of Curly's most endearing qualities is her gentle and sweet nature. She approaches life with a relaxed attitude, always ready to take things at her own pace. While she may initially be reserved, it doesn't take long for her to warm up to people, and once she does, her affection knows no bounds. She enjoys being petted and following her person around the yard and house. How did Curly get here name? Her cute little tail is what she is named for! Her appearance is very unique with her dappled short coat and corkscrew like tail. Her coat sheds very little and is easy to maintain. Curly will do best with older kids who are eight years old and up. She’s learning to like toys and has a zest for treats. With proper interaction, she has the potential and curiosity to engage in play. She's doing very well with the cats in her foster home. Curly is curious, but does not advance, or act aggressive in any way with them.  She’s crate trained and still trying to master potty training. Her foster mom is working with her to walk on leash. She is fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, all core vaccinations, and has been examined by a licensed veterinarian. Her current weight is a healthy 38 pounds. Her adoption fee is $450, which covers her transport and all of the vetting she has received. She has been tested for heartworms and the result was negative. ArkanPaws is not licensed in the state of Massachusetts and unable to deliver there. ArkanPaws is a non-profit agency and all adoption fees supports other pets in need.  ##1771554##

Story
Oliver Bob is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! A shaggy Lab mix looking for his second chance at a loving home! This laid-back boy enjoys a leisurely daily walk and then settling in for a cozy nap on the couch. He’s a sucker for head scratches and warms up quickly to friendly faces. Oliver would do best in a home with teens and up—no young kids or cats, please. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing companion to relax with, Oliver Bob might be your perfect match! Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting. All of our dogs live in Alabama foster homes and transport to New England when they are adopted. If you are approved to adopt one of our dogs, you will speak to the foster family and you can request FaceTime, video or more pictures once your application is approved. Every dog is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, multiple dewormings, and pet receives parasite prevention. Dogs over six months are heartworm tested, and any dog that has been through treatment is fully disclosed with medical records. All dogs live in foster homes, in a family environment. Every dog comes with its health records. Mandy is approximately 9-10 months old and currently 40 lbs. she was found stray with her sister and no one looked for them. She was very skinny. We think Mandy’s going to weigh 50 to 55 pounds as an adult dog at two years old. Mandy lives in a foster home with a Senior couple and several dogs of various ages and sizes. She is happy and playful. She is crate training and does well in her crate overnight and for nap time. She will not do well crated all day while her family is at work. She needs someone home more than someone absent. Mandy has not lived with children that we are aware, however, we feel that she would do well in a home with school-age children. She has not been exposed to cats in rescue, but we could have her cat tested for an approved applicant. We have been sending Dogs and cats to New England homes for 15 years. We have to pay a transporter for every dog we send to a New England home. We do not own the van or service. Every dog sees a veterinarian before they leave for a health check and health certificate, which also comes with a cost. Total adoption fee for this sweetheart is $585.00. Hasn’t changed in years. $345 adoption $175 transport $65 health certificate Serious adopters should fill out the application online and someone will get back to you. We prefer a vet reference, current or previous, to adopt a puppy. Copy and paste the link into your browser. https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157
