Story
This gorgeous lady was found as a stray in a very rural area of Tennessee. The details of her past are unknown. Rosie's story began the day she was rescued. While in foster care, Rosie lived with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Rosie is not a big player but enjoys a good tug-of-war. Sometimes, Rosie becomes startled when resident dogs get rowdy. When that happens, she reacts appropriately with a grumble. Rosie has been introduced to cats and did well with laid-back cats that ignored her. More reactive cats experienced a game of chase. Overall, Rosie was very tolerant even when the cat hissed at her. Rosie is adaptable, well-mannered, and intelligent. She kennels on command and will bark if she is ready to get out. She is a great house guest, potty trained (with a doggie door), and does not get into anything. She rarely gets on the furniture and sleeps on the floor beside the bed. Rosie minds well on a leash, keeps tension at first, and will loosen when asked. Her hereditary breed traits kick in when Rosie gets excited, so watch your ankles! She can be mouthy and a bit rough when her humans play with her, but it is truly all fun and games. Rosie's ideal adopter includes an active caretaker who enjoys an active outside healthy lifestyle within the herding breed experience. If you find cattle-dog traits redeeming values, this is your dream dog!Name: Row Row RosieBreed: Cattle Dog MixSex: FemaleAge: 3 years (estimated)Weight: 43lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Completed treatment Microchipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: Yes, only if dog-savvy and non-reactive to dogs presenceAdoption Fee: $400.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  New EnglandIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Molly & Eddie are two of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet! They came to PAWS NE when their owner went into hospice and their vet intervened to stop them from being taken to the local shelter. Their southern foster gave them as much love as possible to make sure they knew they were safe. When they came to New England, Eddie took a little time to warm up, but it was well worth the wait. Eddie now has such a sweet personality. He is playful, loving, and gentle. He loves to snuggle up next to you on the couch, and will sit by his foster mom’s feet when she works from home. He has bursts of excitement when he wants to play and can get a little jumpy, but he is gentle even when he’s jumpy. He doesn’t do stairs, so apartment life would be challenging, but he does allow his foster mom to pick him up to carry him up or down the stairs. He is also very attached to Molly. Until he is comfortable somewhere he doesn’t let her out of his sight, but once he settles in he’s okay giving her a little space.Molly is happy go lucky. She will follow you everywhere you go. She loves to snuggle. When she wants attention she will gently put her paw on you to ask for some love. She also likes to sleep by her foster mom’s feet when she works from home, and will climb up into bed with you if you let her. She always wants to be right with her people. She is fine with stairs and uses stairs to get up on the couch.Molly & Eddie bring so much joy to everyone they meet!! They are also good with other dogs. They currently live with a 5lb Yorkie and an 80lb mutt and get along with both. They would do best in a home where someone is around a lot, or where they can go to work with their person, as they really like to be with their people. They are low maintenance and make the most wonderful companions!!Please consider opening up your home to this sweet pair...you will be so happy you did!Name: Eddie & MollyAge/Breed: Eddie - 11 yo 51 lb Cattle dog; Molly - 12 yo 22 lb fluffy mixSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Unknown at present but seem like super easy dogsGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $350.00 covers their transport fee onlyLocation of dog currently: New EnglandIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
CiCi and Coral are 2 tiny babies that are fun and such awesome little boogers. These 2 pups were seen running around a dirt road, with no houses or people for miles. The person picked them up and took them home, gave them a nice cool bath, got their bellies full and they slept for hours on comfy blankets. We estimate they were born around June 5th and as of 7/25, they weigh 3.2-3.5 lbs. We do not know who their parents are, but based on coloring we believe there is some heeler mix in there. These babies are super friendly and would thrive in medium active households. They LOVE to play. They’ll run all around their playpen with toys just swinging them around; the toys are bigger than they are! CiCi and Coral are kissers. They’ll lick your face, your feet, your arms, anywhere they can reach. They love to be held and cuddled, and they fit so perfectly in your arms! Entertaining and sweet are the 2 best words to describe them. When they’re on the go, they want to explore and see everything they can. They’re very curious of this new inside world around them and love to put their little noses in everything they can. They would do wonderful with children; they are just so happy to be around people. CiCi and Coral are talkers – They want to tell you about their day and how upset they were that they didn’t get extra meal portions. They LOVE their food. These rambunctious little girls have met other dogs and cats, and they love all the animals they meet! They would thrive in a home with or without other animals. If you’re looking for a fantastic family puppy, a puppy that can grow with your children or in your home, and that just has a wonderful personality, CiCi or Coral would be an amazing addition to all types of families. _______________________________________________________________________________ If you would like to adopt this doggy/puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, current on preventions, dewormed and microchipped.
