Beans is an absolute gem who is eager to please his person and will require multiple meetings before going home! Beans just returned from being THE BEST doggy at the training camp. The trainer says he's very smart and loves to learn! He LOVES playing outside in the pool or chasing around the sprinkler stream and also enjoys long hikes through the woods. He loves learning new tricks and having his brain worked, whether it's a 15-minute training session or a puzzle toy he has to figure out himself and trust me he will! He also loves to lay in his bed, playing and chewing on his toys. Beans is an active boy who would do best with a yard to run or a lake to swim in. Are you ready for a companion to keep you on your toes? - 2 year 3 months - 52lbs fully grown - Needs a training plan - Good with dogs/cats/farm animals - Good with kids 16+ - Adoption fee: $175 * My fee is Sponsored! * - Will need multiple meetings To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Story
Hi everyone, my name is Bandit! I am an active pup looking for a forever family that will help me grow, learn and be the best dog I can be! I'd love to be your sidekick on all the adventures. My current hobbies are playing with my furry foster sister, playing with toys and of course eating yummy treats. I enjoy sleeping in my crate at night and ride great in the car. Not to brag but my foster mom says I am "one SMART cookie."   If you are looking for an active dude, apply today and Bandit's CCRC friends will be in touch! We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.   January 23, 2025, 11:46 am

This is a courtesy post for Silver Lake Animal Rescue League to help find Sugar Bear a forever home. So if you are interested in Sugar Bear, please email slarl@yahoo.com with any questions.Sugar Bear is a sweet 6-7 year old mixed breed dog (we don`t know any of her breeds!). Since she has tall ears, we are thinking possibly Cattle Dog mix? She weighs around 35 lbs so she is the perfect medium size dog - not too big and not too small!Sugar Bear`s family was evicted from their home and they put poor Sugar Bear out on the streets. Luckily, a neighbor witnessed this and contacted the local animals shelter. Sugar Bear is now searching for her forever home.Sugar can be a little shy when she meets a new person but once they pet her, she warms up very quickly! Since she can be a little shy, we would recommend a quieter home and one without small children.Sugar enjoys car rides, cuddling and always being with her person, going for walks and naps! Her favorite hobby is chasing squirrels so for that reason, she may not be good with cats or very small animals. She is in a foster home with another dog and does fine with her. She is a very smart girl and listens very well when you call her name. She would make a great agility dog!If interested in Sugar Bear, please email slarl@yahoo.com with any questions.https://www.petfinder.com/dog/sugar-bear-73335576/mi/clawson/silver-lake-animal-rescue-league-mi155/

Story
This dog found its way to our house a few months ago, we’ve been trying to find her a good home since, because we currently have chickens outside and a cat inside that she wouldn’t get along with. I would love to find a home for her with someone who either has another small dog or no other pets, before the winter gets too harsh. She is super sweet and she loves to snuggle, and has spent lots of time with another small dog we have. We have had to keep her in an enclosure or in a specific room of the house most of the time we’ve had her as she has tried to run away or go after our chickens.

Story
Welcome Harrison! This sweet & spunky 9 month old 40lb cattle dog mix lived most of his life in a small crate with a shock collar! He loves ALL toys, bones, puzzles and fetch. He loves walks and will ask to go on one. He loves to play with other dogs but probably needs one that matches his energy level for a sibling. He is house trained and knows basic commands and some tricks. He’s super food motivated and smart so learns super fast. He has been great in a crate. Still acts like a puppy working on some mouthing but he’s easily redirected to a toy bone etc. He definitely has working dog energy! If interested in Harrison, fill out an application at underdogrescueranch.com/adopt
