Hi, just call me Buba,I am just a little guy who is learning to trust and build some confidence. I think I have come a long way since I was rescued but I still have work to do. I love people, even the little people who offer me gentle pets and cuddles. It makes my heart sing!I can be very playful with other dogs if I am introduced properly, otherwise, I am pretty shy. Cats are good too, I just ignore them.I am happy to play with toys but even a plastic water bottle can be fun, I am not too fussy. I am getting used to car rides, at first, I was very restless because it was scary but now I know what to expect so it is better. I like water, but I haven’t been to the beach yet, maybe that is something we can do together.I am just a young pup so I have plenty to learn about obedience, walking on a leash, and basic commands but if you have some patience I will learn quickly. Hi, my name is Zeke,I am so happy that my foster mom rescued me from a bad situation. We have been working on building my confidence because truly, lots of things scare me. I like to play with other dogs but when I get tired, I can get a bit grouchy. I am not much for toys, just give me a stick and I am happy.I spend most of my time in the yard, so it will take some work to say that I am house-trained. I do my business outside in the same place all the time but in the house, you would need to teach me how to ask to go outside.I will need a lot of love and patience. We went to the beach the other day and it was a new experience that I would love to get used to. I know I can be a great dog for the right people. Nix is a 3-4 year old Australian cattle dog. She likes to go on daily walks (leashed) and enjoys car rides. She's not good around other animals, and meeting new people makes her nervous but she warms up quickly. She's not a fan or treats or toys. ** Currently fostered in Houston Texas, but available for adoption out of state via rescue transportation, included in adoption fee. Offer Zoom call to virtually meet prior to adoption. Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm.
