If the potential adopter is willing to pay the fees & charges we will accept PayPal. Beautiful & very sweet Maggie is so incredibly lucky to be alive. Her mum who we have in the rescue & rescued from death. Aussie was pregnant in a high kill shelter in CA & was going to be euthanized heavily pregnant because no one was coming to help her. Well we did & she gave birth to 7 puppies, but unfortunately 1 went to heaven. Maggie was one of the 6 & the only female with her 5 brothers. They were all loved & looked after in a foster home & once she & her brothers were old enough they came back to WA & now Miss Maggie is looking for a forever home & a wonderful family to love her. Maggie is such a very soft gentle natured little lady compared to the huge personalities of her brothers. She is a little shy at first until she knows you then her loving, adventurous & curious puppy personality comes out. She loves, loves other dogs & playing with them & absolutely needs another dog in the home for her to thrive. She likes sitting on a chair & looking out the window in her foster home & taking it all in. She will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing herself around in comfy blankets. When she is comfortable her tail does not stop wagging. She is still a puppy & would still need to be taught her puppy manners. She also enjoys going up to her foster mum & resting her head on her & being close to her. She adores being held & kissed. She is such a lovely innocent girl. We also put Maggie into a daycare to socialize her with all different dog personalities & she has done well. Maggie’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. She enjoys going out into the backyard in her foster home & running around playing with her friends & siblings. In CA she also enjoyed laying out in the sun & relaxing. Maggie has been great with her baths because she started having them with us in her loving foster home the moment she was able to so she is used to them. She loves both men & woman once she knows them. Maggie is a big eater as she is a growing puppy. She is not shy about eating once she is comfortable. Maggie rode beautifully in the car with her foster mum & enjoys a good journey & will also once she knows & trusts her new family to. She needs continued work walking on her harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Maggie where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Maggie is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. Maggie has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. In her foster home she is with dogs. A fenced backyard is mandatory for Maggie. Maggie is roughly just 7 months old & 22 lbs & is perhaps a Australian cattle & what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets & she is microchipped. She was given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies, dewormed. Maggie has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & did well with the cat in the foster home but doesn’t mean she will do well with all cats. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Maggie was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Maggie’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Maggie potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Maggie & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Maggie who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. We have spent so much more money on Maggie than her adoption fee even comes close to covering. Maggie has an adoption fee of $885 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

Well we did & she gave birth to 7 puppies, but unfortunately 1 went to heaven. Morgan was one of the remaining 6 babies. They were all loved & looked after in a foster home in CA & once he & is siblings were old enough they came back to WA & now Morgan is looking for a forever home & a wonderful family to love him. UPDATE: We are absolutely devastated to say that Morgan the very loyal boy is yet again looking for his forever home. He is losing his home because he has become protective of his mum & dad in his own home & when they have guests over he has become fearful of other people & nipped at them & lunged at them while in his home. While with us in our rescue, Morgan was always a gentleman & loved everyone & was our vet’s favorite boy. Morgan is a rescue, we are looking for a forever home for him where he has a quite home now & not lots of guests. He does love other dogs. His previous family said: - Loves walks, puzzles, chew toys, cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard, and most of all fetch. - Sleeps until around 7:30AM, is mellow for a few hours, then is ready for physical activity and mental stimulation. Naps multiple times a day and settles down for the night around 8:00PM. - Eats 3 x a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. - Highly intelligent and very food driven. Training with treats has been very successful. - Has learned the commands come, sit, stay, lay-down, shake, go to your bed, off and drop it. - Prefers to be with his humans. The most time he has been left at home alone was 2.5 hours and he was not destructive. Morgan is shy & nervous at first when he doesn’t know you but once he warms up to you, he is SUPER sweet & just wants to be near you! He just wanted me to keep petting him so he was standing up to reach my hands. Whoever adopts him will be so lucky once he warms up to them. He is so precious one our wonderful ladies at our vets said while Morgan was there getting his medical taken care of. She also said she wants to say hi to Morgan when she comes in & he gets so excited to see her & he is such a sweet boy. Morgan is such a lovely natured little lad & compared to his other brothers who have so much energy. Of course being a puppy he is adventurous & has the curious puppy personality come out. He gets along so well with other dogs & will play with other dogs & he could be the king of his new house to if he got all the attention. He will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing himself around in comfy blankets. When he is comfortable his tail does not stop wagging. He is still a puppy & would still need to be taught his puppy manners. He also adores being close to people & so wants to be held & kissed. We also put Morgan into a daycare to socialize him with all different dog personalities & he has done well. Morgan’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. Morgan rode beautifully in the car with his foster mum & enjoys a good journey & will also once he knows & trusts his new family to. We have had him in the car a couple of times teaching him car rides are a good thing. He still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash but he is learning but still gangly when being walked. Story
Gerl (pronounced like Girl) has been with us for a few months, but I have known her since a puppy. Her original home was just a little too chaotic for her. She is very sensitive and loyal. She wants to learn a task and make you happy. She gets excited easily but is very good at just sitting with someone all day and keeping them company. She is great with our small dog (chihuahua mix) and our cat but she hasn’t been socialized too much so she just needs to feel safe and comfortable first. She would be a great activity dog, someone who hikes or runs or wants a road dog. Or a great house alarm, she is very attentive. Very trainable. Loves to cuddle and lounge on the couch with you. She is crate trained and behaves very well in her crate. She will come with her crate and bed, harness, leash, a few toys and Science Diet food we’ve had her on. We love her very much so we want a good fit with an adopter. We just don’t have the time to give her the attention she deserves

Story
Griffey is an extremely loveable pet. He just wants to be with his "pack". He has a lot of energy, but also just loves to lay around and snuggle all day. He loves to go on runs and walks, as well as chase the water streams from the hose or sprinkler! He is very excitable (but playful and gentle) when new people come over, tends to do a lot of jumping and sniffing but usually calms down in less than 5 minutes. He does get a little anxious when left alone for longer than an hour or two but doesn't chew or destroy anything. Doesn't really bark outside of the occasional raccoon in the backyard. The only reason we are having to surrender him is he needs a non-cancerous tumor removed from his tail, but it will cost $6k and that is something we unfortunately just can't do right now

Story
** Currently fostered in Houston Texas, but available for adoption out of state via rescue transportation, included in adoption fee. Offer Zoom call to virtually meet prior to adoption. Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. For more information on how to adopt Barkley, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application.

Talk about right place at the right time yet again with our foster mum & for beautiful Shiba. This is another one of those disgusting stories plus so very sad for Shiba. Our foster mum was at one of the very high kill shelters in CA rescuing a sweet soul when a family come along who were going to dump Shiba. They daughter said she did not like Shiba because her eyes freaked her out. Shiba was her dads dog & had her since she was a puppy & they were all moving. The dad lived in the garage & he left Shiba with them that morning because in his new place he couldn’t have dogs. So the daughter wanted Shiba gone & was not willing to take her to the new place they were moving to. The usual disgusting story of, we are moving so we can’t take our beloved dogs with us story. Unfortunately our foster mum thought there was only Shiba they were dumping but they had 2 more dogs. As our foster mum was driving away down the road a young daughter in the car yells out “we have 2 more dogs we are giving to the shelter”, but her father told her not to bother the lady. So unfortunately 2 other dogs did enter the shelter & we don’t know if they made it out alive from the same home? We are so grateful to have saved Shiba. We can’t begin to express how much we all love this girl. Without our outstanding foster mum this would not of happened & who knows what would of happened to this precious girl? Shiba is 1 of our beloved rescues favorite girl in the rescue. She is the nicest girl. We truly believed her dad did love her very much. Medically, no & financially no. That was all on our shoulders to take care of. But her mannerisms tell she was loved. Shiba who is now looking for her very own forever home & who will never give up on her again & dump her & love her just as her foster mum & we do. Shiba was bought back to WA state from CA where we got all of her medical taken care of & she can’t wait to find her loving forever home. Our foster mum in CA cried & cried the day Shiba left as she knew she was a very special girl. How on earth anyone could let Shiba down is beyond us. Especially since the previous people had her so long, it’s shocking. Shiba just wants to be loved & look look out, once you love her back you will have a new best friend for life. Disturbing to think of what almost happened to her. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA. Shiba is such a good girl her foster mum said, she is super sweet, she is so quite & lives to be near you. You look at her & she looks straight into your soul. It’s time for this girl to be the queen as she always should of been. Shiba is a good eater, she loves to eat & put on countless pounds since being rescued. Shiba loves sleeping with her foster mum & wants to sleep with her & does not like to sleep alone. So we are only looking for a home where she can sleep with her family or other dog friends in the home. Shiba’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. She loves to go outside & sun herself & play in the backyard. She wants to be wherever you are her foster mum said. She will become your stalker. If you get up, she gets up. If you take a shower, there she is on the other side waiting for you. This sweetheart has been taught to shake paws as it shows in 1 of her pictures. She is a smart girl. Shiba has been great with her baths because she started having them with us the moment she was rescued & she was quite filthy when our foster mum got her. She is also so used to them & is good being dried by the hairdryer. Shiba rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & enjoys looking out the window & going places with you. Shiba walks beautifully on her slip lead. We cannot say enough how wonderful this girl is & we want the very best forever home for her. We are looking for a forever home for Shiba where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Shiba is good with other dogs & we have even put her into a daycare with all different breeds of dogs & she has done good with them. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lady only. Shiba is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. Shiba has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. We have tested her for roughly 9 months with countless dogs in & out of a daycare with countless breeds & she has done well with them. But we want her to be the only dog in her forever home so she can be the queen & get all the attention. Shiba was adopted for a extremely short period of time but it was not a match as she did not get along with the dog in the home the adopter said & she had scuffles with that dog so they did not want her & returned her. Shiba is roughly 5 years old & 61 lbs & is perhaps an Australian shepard, but what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, spayed by laser by our wonderful vets. Shiba is, heart worm negative, had a dental scale & polish & dental x-rays. We treated Shiba for a raging skin infection where she lost some of her fur on her belly & legs with antibiotics but her fur grew back. She is microchipped, given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Shiba, with all of her medical care than her adoption fee comes close to even covering, her spay by laser, all of her shots, testing her for heart worm, microchip transport fees bringing her back to WA state, etc. Shiba has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & could care less about the cat in her foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Shiba was conceived so we do not know who both her parents were, but it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Shiba’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Shiba potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Shiba has been through many traumas in her short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for her care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Shiba & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Shiba has an adoption fee of $995 & her adoption fee does not come close to what we have spent on this beautiful girl. Shiba is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter is willing to pay the fees & charges we will accept PayPal. What these sweet souls see, hear & endure is incomprehensible. Ellen was part of a breeder dumping dogs. He actually wanted Ellen & many others gone immediately in Indiana but was willing to work with us. We have to move fast because unfortunately in these situations, when they want them gone, there is no messing around for their health & safety. Being breeding dogs they are money making machines only & their time had come to an end with this breeder. Beautiful Ellen & her other 9 friends were living outside all day & night in cages. Once we knew about them, there was no way we were leaving them there. We organized to rescue all of them & our wonderful team drove & picked up everyone. Of course the were all so filthy & stinking so badly & some were matted to the skin & needing grooming immediately & medical care. He did not care & just wanted them gone. Rescuing the breeding dogs is an extremely expensive situation each time & it involves a lot of expenses in transportation & so much medical. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Ellen how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home & her other friends. Ellen was bought back to WA state where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever family. Beautiful & gentle Ellen. She is such a sweetheart even though humans have been so bitterly cruel to her. Her world changed within hours of a phone call & a car ride along with her friends. No more living outside for this girl in a cage. When she arrived she had urine stained fur & we do not know had she ever seen a bath up until then. We see this all the time with the dogs in cages sitting in their own filth & it takes so long to remove the urine stains that have built up. Her foster mum in CO said she was such a sweetheart with them & enjoyed running freely on the property with the other dogs & clearly this was her first chance & freedom but it was a little overwhelming & didn’t want to come inside as she believed she would go into a cage. Her foster mum & dad in WA said she was very sweet & everything was obviously new to her & it would take time, patience & understanding with what Ellen has been through but does not have a mean bone in her body. The dogs gave her joy & comfort in that foster home & she loved to eat. She adored having a comfy bed & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. Nor toys, love, her own bed. All the things she should of experienced. She slept & slept in her foster home in WA as if she had never slept before. Her current foster mum said Ellen willingly joins the other dogs at meal times now, & eats next Toto the Scottie.  Her appetite has become voracious & she definitely has put on weight.  I haven’t been able to spend much time leash-training her (due to my limitations) but she is getting the hang of a stretchy leash.  When I first got her she would not walk at all with me - just stood there.  She is now responding to treats as rewards, whereas at first she wouldn’t take a treat from me.  Even now sometimes it’s 50/50.  She has not been willing to learn about the dog door, although she stands right at the door & watches the other 3 use it all the time.  She would still need work walking on her harness & leash as it’s all completely new to her as she was never taught until we rescued her. This girl has been good with all different breeds of dogs as they bring her comfort. We have tested Ellen in a daycare environment & is good with men & women & adores the dogs but it’s to overwhelming for her. Ellen rides fine in the car & is good with being bathed. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Ellen as you can imagine spent the beginning of her life outside in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Ellen where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Ellen is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. Ellen has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her foster homes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for her to go to a forever home with another dog present. Ellen forever home must have a fully fenced backyard, this is mandatory. Ellen is roughly 13.5 lbs, she is 2 years old & a mini Australian shepherd, but what she is mixed with we are not sure. She is female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, she had a dental scale & polish. She is microchipped, she is up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed several times. We have spent far more on Ellen with paying for her to get away from a breeder in Indiana to get her out with bringing her to WA with her boarding costs, transport costs, her medical care in WA, getting her spayed by laser, now boarding her in WA etc than her adoption fee even comes close to covering. Rescuing these dogs in these situations is financially draining then getting them all their medical added on too. Ellen has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Ellen was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Ellen’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Ellen potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Ellen & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Ellen who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Ellen has an adoption fee of $1450 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
We'll also keep you updated on Catherine (Gigi)'s adoption status with email updates.

What these sweet souls see, hear & endure is incomprehensible. Catherine was part of a breeder dumping dogs. She actually wanted Catherine & many others gone immediately in Indiana but was willing to work with us. We have to move fast because unfortunately in these situations, when they want them gone, there is no messing around for their health & safety. Being breeding dogs they are money making machines only & their time had come to an end with this breeder. Beautiful Catherine & her other 9 friends were living outside all day & night in cages. Once we knew about them, there was no way we were leaving them there. We organized to rescue all of them & our wonderful team drove & picked up everyone. Of course they were all so filthy & stinking so badly & some were matted to the skin & needing grooming immediately & medical care. She did not care & just wanted them gone. She said she was going to stop breeding dogs because she was pregnant but unfortunately it was not the case. Rescuing the breeding dogs is an extremely expensive situation each time & it involves a lot of expenses in transportation & so much medical. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Catherine how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home & her other friends. Catherine was bought back to WA state where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever family. She is such an amazing soul even though humans have been so bitterly cruel to her. Her world changed within hours of a phone call & a car ride along with her friends. No more living outside for this girl in a cage. Catherine’s current foster family call her Gigi & they love her very much & would love to adopt her unfortunately one of their children has very bad allergies otherwise she would not be leaving this amazing foster family. She does so well around the small children & her foster mum thinks that she would be good with small children as long as they were calm. She definitely needs a home who will be patient with her during the transition as she loves her current foster family. Her foster mum in CO said she was such a wonderful & very sweet girl & also enjoyed running freely on the property with the other dogs & clearly this was her first chance & freedom but it was a little overwhelming & didn’t want to come inside as she believed she would go into a cage. It was the same originally with her current foster home until that trust was built. Since being in the rescue & her loving foster home Catherine has learnt to be a normal dog & what a normal life is supposed to look like. She adores having a comfy bed & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued as you can see from her pictures. She never got to experience toys, love, her own bed. All the things she should have experienced. She would still need work walking on her harness & leash as it’s all completely new to her as she was never taught until we rescued her. Her loving foster family have taught her to walk on a collar. This girl has been good with all different breeds of dogs as they bring her comfort. We have tested Catherine in a daycare environment & is good with men & women. But a daycare environment is absolutely not a good fit at all for this girl. Catherine rides well in the car once she knows you & trusts you. She is good with being bathed. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Catherine as you can imagine spent the beginning of her life outside in a caged environment. Catherine is roughly 17 lbs, she is 5 years old & a mini Australian shepherd, but what she is mixed with we are not sure. She is female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, she had a dental/scale & polish & dental x-rays. She had 6 molars, 1 premolar removed & gum surgery as her mouth was a neglected mess. She is microchipped, she is up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed several times. We have spent far more on Catherine with paying for her to get away from a breeder in Indiana to get her out with bringing her to WA with her boarding costs, transport costs, her medical care in WA, getting her spayed by laser, now boarding her in WA etc than her adoption fee even comes close to covering.
