Story
Meet Steffie, an adorable Ice Age pup with the perfect mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Australian Shepherd, expected to be medium-sized when fully grown. This sweet girl is a cuddle bug who loves to be close&#194&#151if she's not snuggled up with her humans, she's sticking right by her doggy friends. She's a little shy when meeting new people or pups, but she warms up quickly and is incredibly friendly. She's a quiet pup who rarely barks and is quick to learn. Steffie is doing well with house training and learning the ropes of home life. With her loving nature and gentle personality, she's ready to find a forever family that will shower her with love&#194&#151and plenty of snuggles! Steffie is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Steffie, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Story
There is nothing sub-zero about the Ice Age puppies! They are sure to warm even the most frozen of hearts with their sweet personalities. Their mama was a mix of many breeds but we can see Jack Russell Terrier and Australian Shepherd in her. We don't know who these little ones' dad was or how big they will end up getting but mama is about 40 lbs and we believe these puppies are on track to be medium sized dogs when they are done growing. They all have short golden and white fur and many have blue eyes. Soto is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Story
Texas will lasso your heart from the moment you meet this sweet, sweet girl. She is around 1.5 years old and we believe she is a mix of Australian Shepherd, Cattle Dog and Border Collie. She delivered 9 adorable puppies under our care and is ready to put motherhood behind her. She is friendly and affectionate and loves meeting people. She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home but doesn't necessarily need dog siblings in her future home to be happy. Despite her breed mix she is a mellow and mild mannered girl and doesn't need a lot of exercise and is satisfied with a few short walks per day. She is well behaved in the home and can be left home alone uncrated. She walks calmly on leash, is not a big barker, and is house trained. Texas is being treated for a reversible medical condition and will not be ready for adoption until closer to late March. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Texas, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! Story
Scout is a beautiful 8-month-old female puppy! We believe she may be a Border Collie x Australian Shepherd mix given her stunning characteristics.  She is incredibly sweet and friendly to all that she meets! She would do best in an active household as she may be a mix of two strong working breeds. She will need someone who can properly enrich her genetics along with providing structure, routine, and basic obedience to help her grow out of puppyhood. Scout walks beautifully on a loose leash with minimal pulling and has been responding extremely well and quick to provided basic obedience and structure. She is wicked smart, fluffy, and sweet!  She can best be described as dog social, but also neutral and tolerant. She's happy to wiggle around with some friends and is also totally chill with other dogs who are still learning their manners. As she is likely a herding breed, she would probably do best in a home with other medium to large dogs and kids 13+, although she has met small dogs and cats and has done well with them. Scout is an eligible dog through our partnership with Pets for Patriots, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping current or former US military members find their best friend. Story
*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Hazel! Hazel is a sweet 10-year-old Australian Shepherd-Golden Retriever mix looking for a calm, loving home for her golden years. Her family has expanded over the years, and now includes twin 4-year-olds and a 2-year-old. Hazel has struggled to adjust to the acitivity, noise, and handling that kids have brought to the home. Her family has made the difficult decision to look for a calmer home where Hazel can thrive again, whether it's an adults-only home, or a family with children old enough to understand the importance of gentle interaction. Hazel enjoys lounging around the house, playing with the other dog in the home, and nibbling on her toys. She's well-behaved, house-trained, spayed, and in good health. Hazel gets along great with her dog sibling and does well at doggie daycare. Hazel loves outdoor activities like hiking, going for walks around the neighborhood, and playing fetch. Hazel is especially fond of the water – whether it’s swimming, fetching balls from the lake, or just enjoying the rain or snow, she’s in her element. Hazel is looking for a patient, loving adopter who is willing to earn her trust. Once you do, Hazel will be your best friend and a wonderful companion. She will happily snuggle close. If you think you can offer Hazel the calm, loving home she deserves, please text Katie at (310)254-7541 more information or to schedule a meeting. *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.*
