Story
Willow is a mini Australian shepherd she weighs 26lbs her birthday is April 10th 2024, she need a home where she can get alot of exercise as she is still in the puppy faze and she is very active. So her new home should provide a nice yard plenty of walks and alot of stimulation. She thinks she is a lap dog and loves her humans tremendously. She is a bit shy around other dogs but will warm up to them fairly quickly .I have a 4 year old grandson and she loves to play with him. She is a herding dog and will follow you whereever you go. She is just the sweetest dog ever i just cant give her the exercise she needs. She would make a great agility dog. She loves to play with her Frisbee and she can catch it in the air. She learns fast and once she figures out how to do something she has got it. She is stubborn but with the right owner I think she will thrive.

Story
Meet Willow the 1 year old mini Australian Shepherd! This beauty can be yours if we feel your experience level or willingness to learn how to work with herding dogs is a match! We are also requiring that you work with a certified force-free trainer from our roster post adoption through at home or training classes. We are working on socialization with other dogs and basic cues such as come, sit, leave it and off which she is picking up like a champ! Very smart girl! Willow loves to be a lap dog too! Street Savvy Dog Rescue is facilitating a rehoming for Willow in conjunction with her current owner because she needs a more active owner(s) who will help keep her mind active and meet her needs. She is currently in a home in Troutdale Oregon, is around 26 lbs, spayed, UTD on monthly preventatives, potty trained, crate trained, good with friendly males female dogs (we don't recommend small pets as she wants to herd them) and loves treat rewards. We look forward to hearing from all interested applicants! Street Savvy Dog Rescue . Australian Shepherd + Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 10 months old Male 35 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I don’t want to seem like a show-off or anything, but I am pretty sweet, and friendly, and affectionate with people... unless I am on leash! Goodness do I need help with my leash manners, I can pretty grumpy meeting new people and dogs on leash. I won’t mind sharing my home with kids 10+, or other dogs. I mean, they are all so much fun to play with! But I’m not to sure how to be friends with a kitty. I could run and wrestle and romp all day! I’m a pretty happy boy with a great attitude and a curious demeanor. I’ve got the brains to excel at arithmetic, but who am I kidding…I just can’t wait for recess! I’m super smart, playful, eager to please, and longing to be loved; so a family that is committed to working on continued training, giving me lots of guidance and structure is exactly what I need. I am teenager who is rebelling a little bit and need someone to help rein it in! Why not come in and meet me? I want so badly to show off what a cute fella I am! My adoption fee is $200 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Here's what you need to know about me:I'd like a relaxed home. I wouldn't say I'm "old"... I've just been around for a while. And that's made me appreciate the finer things in life like naps in the sun, looking out windows, and the special joy when you're able to scratch juuuuust the right spot. I like to take it easy at home - I'm not up for lots of activity. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along. Story
Poppy is a 4.5 yr old amazing Australian Sheppard. We got her from High Desert Aussies when she was a puppy, and we are the only owners. It is heartbreaking to create this post as she is a sweet girl, super affectionate, and a loving member of our family. Unfortunately, she has bitten our neighbor's dog a few times. The breeder has said that it isn't abnormal for female Aussies to be territorial with same-sex dogs. Given the strained relationship, however, we need to find her a new home. She is obedient and highly intelligent and is well-acclimated to people and other dogs. We have another dog (male) that she gets along with well, but she is the dominant pet. She is well trained indoors, crates at night, but needs exercise during the day.

These pups are in Gresham, Oregon too!
