Story
Willow is a mini Australian shepherd she weighs 26lbs her birthday is April 10th 2024, she need a home where she can get alot of exercise as she is still in the puppy faze and she is very active. So her new home should provide a nice yard plenty of walks and alot of stimulation. She thinks she is a lap dog and loves her humans tremendously. She is a bit shy around other dogs but will warm up to them fairly quickly .I have a 4 year old grandson and she loves to play with him. She is a herding dog and will follow you whereever you go. She is just the sweetest dog ever i just cant give her the exercise she needs. She would make a great agility dog. She loves to play with her Frisbee and she can catch it in the air. She learns fast and once she figures out how to do something she has got it. She is stubborn but with the right owner I think she will thrive.

Story
Meet Willow the 1 year old mini Australian Shepherd! This beauty can be yours if we feel your experience level or willingness to learn how to work with herding dogs is a match! We are also requiring that you work with a certified force-free trainer from our roster post adoption through at home or training classes. We are working on socialization with other dogs and basic cues such as come, sit, leave it and off which she is picking up like a champ! Very smart girl! Willow loves to be a lap dog too! Street Savvy Dog Rescue is facilitating a rehoming for Willow in conjunction with her current owner because she needs a more active owner(s) who will help keep her mind active and meet her needs. She is currently in a home in Troutdale Oregon, is around 26 lbs, spayed, UTD on monthly preventatives, potty trained, crate trained, good with friendly males female dogs (we don't recommend small pets as she wants to herd them) and loves treat rewards. We look forward to hearing from all interested applicants! Street Savvy Dog Rescue . Story
Australian Shepherd + Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 10 months old Male 35 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I don’t want to seem like a show-off or anything, but I am pretty sweet, and friendly, and affectionate with people... unless I am on leash! Goodness do I need help with my leash manners, I can pretty grumpy meeting new people and dogs on leash. I won’t mind sharing my home with kids 10+, or other dogs. I mean, they are all so much fun to play with! But I’m not to sure how to be friends with a kitty. I could run and wrestle and romp all day! I’m a pretty happy boy with a great attitude and a curious demeanor. I’ve got the brains to excel at arithmetic, but who am I kidding…I just can’t wait for recess! I’m super smart, playful, eager to please, and longing to be loved; so a family that is committed to working on continued training, giving me lots of guidance and structure is exactly what I need. I am teenager who is rebelling a little bit and need someone to help rein it in! Why not come in and meet me? I want so badly to show off what a cute fella I am! My adoption fee is $200 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
*** Apply to adopt at: https://greatheartk9.com/finn Additional questions: hello@greatheartk9.com Instagram: @Adoptfinnpdx Finn is a 5 year old ‘mini’ Australian Shepherd. As with his breed, he is full of energy and extremely smart!! His favorite thing is to play fetch. He absolutely loves to learn new things and train. He enjoys putting his brain to work for mealtime with various puzzles and snuffle mats. Finn has challenges on walks with regards to reactivity towards people and dogs and will require continued training. He will also need his adopter to continue working on noise desensitization to triggers. Finn is on behavior modification medications and these will need to be continued for him to thrive. Finn is searching for a special person who is calm, patient and committed to positive reinforcement training. He would do best in a house with a large yard with space from neighbors. Finn’s prey drive has resulted in chasing the household cat - he needs a home with no cats.

Story
Moka is 4 years old, while she’s been an amazing companion, my work schedule and living situation don't allow me to give her the time and attention she needs. Moka has a lot of energy, so a yard would be ideal for her. She is affectionate, playful, and loves cuddling up with you after a long day. While she’s generally good with people, she does have a short history of nipping at both people and other dogs, especially in moments of anxiety or excitement. She tends to get overly excited when meeting other dogs, as she hasn’t been around many, and her training was not consistent early on. Due to this, Moka will need a patient owner who can provide consistent training, especially with leash work and socialization. For her comfort and well-being, she would do best in a home without cats or young kids, where she can get the one-on-one attention and training she needs. If you have the time, patience, and space to help Moka thrive, she will make a loyal and loving companion!

Story
Meet Bob Tail Bear! He is an adorable 10 -12-week-old puppy, and we think he may be an Australian Shepherd / Lab mix; his cute little nub tail gives him some Aussie Character! Watch Bob Tail's video here: Bob Tail Bear is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! He loves to play with toys and the bigger dogs in his foster home. He even tries to play with the cranky cat! Bob Tail Bear is still young, so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect for going on walks and hikes or showing off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport.
