URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Portland, OR Meet Copper! He is an 8 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 35 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Copper is fearful of strangers! He hasn’t been tested around children. He is good with other dogs! No cats, due to his reactivity. Copper bit the owner’s friend in 2022. He has stranger danger and the owner has worked with trainers. Once Copper warms up to you, he does well. He just take a while to warm up to strangers. He is currently on a trial for Sertaline, a medication for his anxiety when he is left alone at home. The owner is surrendering him because they are expecting a baby and won’t be able to provide the time and attention that he needs. He needs to go by 8/31!
