Story
I’m in the unfortunate situation needing to rehome my beautiful dog. Please help me find a great home! Cody is 5 years old, Australian retriever/Lab mix, and 75 lbs. He is a very sweet, intelligent, and friendly dog! I was only supposed to foster him for a year, but my friend moved so could not take him back. We fell in love with Cody, but I am gone 14 hour days, and travel too frequently to give him the stability he deserves. Looking for someone retired or works from home (or part-time job), with the time to walk with Cody and practice his tricks. He’s used to being the only pet, looking for a forever home, with no pets, or small children as he’s less anxious and more relaxed at home. He’s a very smart dog, listens and doesn’t pull when walking. Recently completed dog training for anxiety/ resource guarding, which helped tremendously, so would love his next family to continue with daily 15 min training. Please come meet him and help us find his forever home ❤️ Thanks!

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Lincoln! He is a very high energy, active and sweet 2-year-old, 40 lb Australian Shepherd. He is a happy boy and loves to get attention from his people! He will do great with a family that understands herding dogs and their needs. He can be strong willed and is still working on basic obedience and will need a family that will continue his training. He is working on not jumping up and mouthing right now so he needs an adult only home or a home with kids over 14. He is super sweet, but he has a lot of happy and unfocused energy. He is very smart and will thrive with training. He would love to be in a home in a suburban or rural neighborhood with a securely fenced yard for him to run and play. He will do best in a home where someone is home much of the time. He likes other dogs but can play very rough with them and would rather spend time with his humans so for that reason we are looking for a home for him as an only dog or with another dog who is able to handle his rough play. He will need an adopter that will keep him physically and mentally active and would make a great jogging or adventure buddy. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Boomer is an ~2yo, 55lb Catahoula/Aussie mix who is ready to find his forever home! He is currently living in a foster home. Boomer is a sweet, affectionate, intelligent, awesome dog, with a happy and friendly demeanor and great personality! He is house trained, sleeps in a crate at night, walks wonderfully on the leash and is friendly and curious to meet new people and dogs on our walks. He loves to sniff around and has a keen nose! Boomer is also the perfect mix of chill and playful. He is content to nap on the couch or dog bed and he also loves running around the backyard sniffing everything and checking things out. Boomer is VERY affectionate and cuddly. He LOVES to be around his people. He would love to be in a home where people are around much of the time. Boomer is food-motivated and knows some basic commands. He has an independent streak, so he will need an adopter who can be firm and consistent. He is a fast learner when he’s properly motivated (treats!) Boomer’s style of play is physical and vocal, so he would be best suited in a home without small children. Boomer would love to be in a home with another dog around his size who has the same play style and a backyard to run around in. Boomer would do best in a home that does not have cats or small animals (maybe even small dogs). His herding instinct is strong. Boomer is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Say hello to this sweet girl, Darby! Darby is an Aussie mix, approximately 9-months-old, 38 lbs, and just the sweetest little gal, looking for her forever home. She thrives being around her foster sisters and brother, playing ball in the yard, wrestling, and chewing on toys. Darby is a shy girl at first but quickly warms up to humans. She is most comfortable interacting with her foster mom and dad while they are sitting down. She is curious and loves to explore new places and smells in the house and out in the yard. While she isn’t super treat motivated, she goes wild at mealtime with a hilarious dance. She is a great eater, gobbles up all her kibble, and does well eating around the other pups. She enjoys bones and jerky chews too! She has zero aggression and all the love to give other dogs and her forever humans. Darby is good on leash and has quickly learned basic commands like sit and paw! She responds to “let’s go!” to come back in from outside playtime in the yard and is house broken. Darby would do best in a home with at least one other friendly and playful dog. She will be the absolute sweetest companion. Darby loves laying on the couch and getting comfy, and sleeps in bed with us each night. She will go in her crate if needed but is perfect to stay out when her humans aren’t home. She is seen snoozing on camera the whole time! Darby will be a great fit for a family who is willing to spend as much time with her as possible. If you sit on the couch, she will be there touching you. If you go to bed, she will want to cozy up with you too. Someone would be lucky to have her as an addition to their furry family. Adopt this little angel Darby girl! Darby is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Millie! Millie is a 1.5-year-old, 45 lb Aussie Shepherd mix who will make a great family dog and is so excited to find her forever home. Millie is a total lovebug! She loves to run, play, and squeak her favorite toys, bringing so much joy and energy into any room. She has a playful spirit but also knows how to be calm and loving when it’s time to snuggle. Millie is great with other dogs, cats, and kids—making her an ideal family companion. She's house trained, obedient, and walks wonderfully on a leash. Millie does have a bit of an adventurous side and can be an escape artist! She was surrendered due to her ability to get out of the yard, so she’ll need a secure 6’ wooden fence (no chain link!) and should not be left unsupervised outside. If you’re looking for a sweet, active, and friendly dog who’s eager to bring happiness into your home, Millie might just be the perfect match! Millie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Colton! Colton is a 4-year-old, 59 lb purebred Australian Shepherd who is ready to find his forever home. This lovable guy was surrendered due to a divorce and is now looking for a fresh start. Colton is an active and affectionate boy who loves his cuddles! Colton is known for being a loyal and loving companion who will always be by your side. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or playing in the yard, Colton is a joy to be around. Colton thrives in a space where he can run, play, and get plenty of exercise. He is looking for a home outside of the busy city, with a fully fenced yard where he can burn off his energy. His affectionate nature makes him a great companion for other pets and for those who enjoy spending time with a playful pup. Colton does not walk well on a leash yet. He was previously living on acreage, so he likely never had the experience of regular walks. He is a strong puller, so his new owner will need to be patient and work with him on leash training. Colton is a healthy, strong boy, he does have a chicken allergy, so he will need to be fed a diet with no chicken-based ingredients, beef or lamb are the preferred proteins for him. If you're looking for a loyal, well-adjusted, and active companion who will shower you with love and affection, come meet Colton! Colton is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Animal Profile: Bear (BooBoo) is a 4 month old Border Collie X puppy who will be joining us on 01/12/2025 via our TX partner Saving Shelter Strays. He s  a sweet puppy who is well socialized and being fostered in a home with two adult dogs.He is playful, snuggly and sweet.  Foster Update:  Bear (Boo-Boo) is doing really well in his foster home! He has lots of puppy energy and loves to play. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and people. He is fearless and confident and even loves playing with my brothers 70lb shepherd! He is still a puppy so loves to chew but bones, playing and training helps tire him out. He is crate trained, walks well on a leash and is picking up potty training as long as on a consistent schedule. He is so smart and has been so fun to train! He already knows sit, stay, down, place, heel and waiting at thresholds.  He can be a bit vocal when he wants attention or is bored. We are working on correcting that behavior and learning to be calm. He would do well with an active family who can continue his training! I would think he would even do well in agility classes or some sort of active dog sport! We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard, we are not considering apartments at this time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Story
Wrenly is a social ,extremely smart, active and athletic gal. She’s amazing when she gets plenty of exercise and her mind is put to work but can be a bit much when living a lazy life. So she is definitely best suited for an active family. She has a natural desire to herd but isn’t aggressive with other animals. She’s been raised and interacts well with all the cats, dogs, horses, sheep and kids in her foster home. This delightful would be a great addition to a farm, ranch, runners or maybe even as an agility partner.

Story
Animal Profile:   Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle, 1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle. He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly, but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4 week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with his day care owners, and doing well there. Foster Update: coming soon! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations,  DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
