Meet this goofy girl Gordy! She is about 6 to 8 months old and is about 25 to 45 lbs. She is a mix of what we believe is a border collie/bull terrier mix. She was dropped in the middle of a field and left there to starve to death. She was so scared of people and did not trust us at first. She was never wanting to bite, but was for sure scared of people. We got her more comfy with being around everyone, but will need a slow introduction. She is good with other dogs and kids, but with chase a cat when it runs, not to get it, but just to play. She is working on those manners. She is a great girl and deserves all the love she can get.

In Nov. 2020, my family adopted a (roughly) 3-month-old Loki from a shelter while we were living in Texas. Loki is a smart cookie, so smart that sometimes his anxiety can get the best of him. He loves other dogs once he gets to know them, but can be standoffish and barky at first. Having another dog friend in the house would be perfect for him, but that isn't something we could do. He grew up around 3 cats and 2 kids. We worry that because he is a COVID dog, he didn't get to be around people enough as a young pup and is generally anxious when strangers are around, so we think that a quieter house without kids would be best for him. He takes to training well now that he's older and is HIGHLY food motivated. He loves snow, peanut butter, car rides, tug-of-war, and, of course, lots of petting. He also prances like a show pony when he walks. My family can no longer give him the kind of life he deserves, and we want him to have the best life possible. He is also quite handsome. ;)

Brio is a real sweetheart who needs a home that will give her attention and lots of love. Brio is from Washington state and is now staying with me in New Jersey. I am heartbroken that I am unable to keep her due to my housing situation but I hope that she can find happiness with a new family. Brio needs someone who understands anxiety and respects boundaries because she has had a rough past. That resulted in her having spots on her body that are triggering when touched. When she feels like her boundaries are being pushed she will freak out and show her teeth and look like she's trying to bite you, but she's never actually bit anyone- she just does this to protect herself. Brio would do best in a home without other dogs although she is able to live with them- she came from a farm with 2 other dogs. Part of her anxiety comes from her being attacked by a dog so she is hesitant with other dogs and doesn't like to play with them. However she LOVES to play with humans.
