I adopted Missy in 2020, she was about 2 and a half years old. She is very sweet and loving, gentle with humans. She knows all basic commands and loves treats and food. She has been a wonderful addition to our family, however I have recently experience some personal hardship which has made it difficult for me to give her the love and attention and dedication she deserves. I am looking for a new home to love and care for this gentle soul. You must not have any other animals though, as she is animal aggressive. This is the only issue with her, and if it wasn’t for this she would have been a great off leash listener. This beautiful soul is in need of dog savvy handler. Someone with kindness and patients in their hearts. She is wonderful with all humans, small children included. She just wants love and attention from any one who will give it to her.

I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home! I’m the goodest boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I’ve been polite around cats and can happily share a home with them. I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a quieter home without kids, as loud noises make me anxious. I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and have a funny habit of pulling all of them out of my toy bin and bringing them to my spot on the couch—my foster mom says it’s the cutest thing ever! Hello Boxer Lovers! Misun here but my foster family calls me Bruno! I am an adorable 2 year old white male that is the calmest boxer you will ever meet. I have all the fantastic boxer characteristics like giving tons of hugs and kisses. My foster family works from home so I really need a human that is home most of the time. I don't like to be alone and hate a kennel. I sleep nice on my own bed on the floor in their bedroom. Of course I would rather sleep in their bed but I am pretty big. I love naps or "resting" with my foster mom and have to be laying right up against her. A fenced yard and a mellow playmate would be appreciated. I don't mind cats if they don't mind me. I walk okay on a leash but can be stubborn about where I want to go so I just stop. Sometimes my foster dad has to really push me to go the right way on our walks. I am very tall and weigh about 75 lbs. I sure don't know my strength so small children are not a good idea. If you love boxers and are looking for a super sweet, calm, loving boy that can spend lots of time with you, I am your guy! Hey, I’m Cherokee, I believe we can be best friends! I’m a Mountain cur, boxer mix but my momma thinks I’m just a mega mutt which is like the best breed ever in my opinion. Meet Avery! Avery traveled with her siblings from North Carolina after the hurricane. She was born in late August and we believe she is a Mountain Cur/Boxer mix. Avery is full of puppy energy and loves to give puppy kisses. Avery loves her food but isn't possessive. She is learning to go outside to do her business and is using the doggy door. Going in her kennel can be hard but will settle down after a little bit of whining. She is sleeping almost through the night as well. She is starting to explore more and gaining her confidence. Avery got along with other dogs at her first foster home. Currently, there are cats but they don't like puppies. Avery checks them out and is learning to give them space. Avery loves kids and is trying to figure out that they are not puppies. She loves toys and is constantly finding things to play with. She loves interactive/brain toys. Best fit home would have a fenced in yard to keep him safe and a companion dog. He is good with other dogs, kids, and cats (dog savvy ones because he likes to chase to play and lick them). All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Yuki can be shy at first but don't let that fool you, he quickly warms up and is the best boy. He is a smart boy who learned signs and schedules fast. He loves to run and play with dogs (and cats but he doesn't understand his size to theirs). He loves everyone he meets and thinks all dogs are his friends. He is working on leash skills, but he doesn't quite understand it yet. Martha came to Redemption Road Rescue from a pound in TX where she was set to be euthanized due to over crowding and her sarcoptic mange. A volunteer drove down to get her to foster and she is now healthy and has a beautiful brindle coat. Martha is a great companion and will bond tightly with her forever family. She currently has small senior dog foster siblings and would benefit from another dog who is willing and able to play with her. She is an active girl and likes walks and playing to keep busy and burn off energy. She has not been cat tested. She has played well with kids age 12+, and is very rambunctious. Martha is doing great with potty training and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She is crate trained for when her fosters are out of the house, but sleeps in bed with them at night. She LOVES walks to burn off that energy, so she can have some couch potato time too!
