Barty is a 6-year-old male Maine Coon mix who needs a home where he is the only cat. We adopted him as an adult in 2018 to join our crew of 2 other cats. We are looking for a new home for him because, despite many attempts to properly introduce and reintroduce him to our other cats, it has become clear that a home where he is the only cat would be best for him and for our other cats. We believe he may have been mishandled or abused as a younger cat, based on his initial behavior toward people when we brought him home. He was not used to being pet or receiving affection and would attempt to bite if someone tried to pet him past his shoulders. Fast forward to today, and he has come SUCH a long way with people. He loves morning snuggles, playtime, catnip, and being brushed on his head, shoulders and back. He is that stereotypical cat with his own preferences on where and when he is pet, he loves his scratching pad, outdoor Catio time, and he is incredibly playful. Open to questions!

Randall was born in a barn at the end of September 2023. We adopted him when he was about 8 weeks old and he has been a fully indoor kitty. Randall is delightful but does not get along with our two adult female cats - all 3 cats have been increasingly stressed, which is why we're sadly rehoming Randall. Randall has been very good with our 1 year-old (human) baby and follows them everywhere. You can tell from the pictures that Randall thinks that he is in fact a human baby. Randall is very social and takes zero time to warm up to new people. He loves sitting on laps. As Randall is still a kitten, he is very energetic and loves playing with all kinds of toys. We will miss him. We hope he finds a home where he is the only kitty and gets lots of human attention.
