This is Pebbles - She will arrive 1/9 from Texas Her owner came into the kill shelter today distraught, she chose to surrender her to the animal shelter today due to the fact that she was homeless and currently living in her care with another dog and a cat. The owner had found her trapped under her porch before she became displaced 6 weeks ago. Pebbles is housebroken, sleeps in the house good with children, kennel trained and good with other animals. She loves pets and kisses and plays well with toys and loves to snuggle. Likely to grow to be 25lbs (this is our best educated guess) All POSO dogs come with two free dog training sessions and spayed/neutered

Story
Meet Nia! She is an easy going little dog. Her ideal day is spent with you on the couch, hanging out and cuddling. She is a sensitive older gal who doesn't like too much excitement or change to her routine. For this reason we recommend she be the only dog in the home (or possibly with one other small, calm older dog) and be in a child free home. She's a very sweet girl, she just needs a calm and consistent household! Despite being uncomfortable with dogs, she is passive with cats and shy but friendly with strangers. Put in an application at eapl.com Her adoption fee is $375 January 5, 2025, 10:06 pm

Story
If you’re looking for a small 4yo, 9lb, sweet, easy pup then Sweet Cera is it. From her foster: When I was rescued in August I was a scared shaking little mouse. You could barely see me as I scurried quickly under tables and shivered in corners when I saw you. Then I met an amazing foster mom who quickly realized I didn’t know how to dog. She and her pack of little doggies gave me the time, space, and quiet caresses to show me that I could come out at my pace without getting hurt. It has taken me a couple of months to shed my fears. BUT my foster mom now calls me her little hamster who loves to sleep on a pillow next to her and cuddle under the blankets. I know meeting a new forever family is going to be a BIG step for me and I’ll need a slow introduction to my new surroundings BUT I am ready!  What I need now from my forever family: Patience, calm, space, quiet encouragement, puppy pads as a backup, a small furry dog companion to teach me to dog, and a cave of pillows on the couch next to you. Walks aren’t necessary but a secure backyard would be wonderful. No young children, please. Ideally a mature quiet household would be perfect. Apply with Evergreen Animal Protective League: eapl.com  My adoption fee is $375 January 7, 2025, 11:57 am

Story
Del Rio and San Antonio were found together as strays living in Texas.  It's clear that these two were dumped and left to fend for themselves on the dangerous streets.  We are guessing that Del Rio is San Antonio's Momma, but we can never be sure.  Del Rio seems to be about 2-3 and San Antonio we are guessing is about a year old. San Antonio is much more outgoing than her Momma.  She love everybody and everything.  She loves to swim, play, and snuggle.  Del Rio is a little more reserved but with the help of San Antonio she comes out of her shell.  They play together and love each other so much. We are requiring that they stay a bonded pair and be adopted together. These two are professional snugglers.  They will have to go to a family who will let them sleep in bed.  They all get in bed together and their fosters hold up the covers and both girls dive under the covers and snuggle up until morning.  They are just precious! If you are interested in adopting these two girls, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com.  Their adoption fee is $595.00 for BOTH of them   ##2196193##
