Meet Willow!Hi there! My name is Willow, and I'm a sweet and playful four-year-old dog. I absolutely love being around kids, and I'm known for being great with them. Although I can be a bit skittish around men when we first meet, I quickly warm up and become playful once I feel comfortable.I have excellent house manners, which means I know how to behave well inside. I never beg for food, and you won't hear me barking unnecessarily. At night, I love to sleep at the foot of my fosters's bed, keeping them company and providing them with warmth and comfort.Sometimes, when my foster leaves, I may scratch at the door. However, with a bit of training and adjustment, this behavior will improve over time. Even senior dogs know the value of a good treat and BettyAnn knows her good behavior deserves a tasty reward. Around ten years old, this lovely lady hasn't always enjoyed the finer things in life, so she is content to just take it easy and touch grass - literally. BettyAnn enjoys short, slow, walks due to her tender hip. Just spending time in the yard, seeing the sky and clouds brings her joy. She can certainly live in a home with other dogs, but she's not interested in rambunctious play. She's a mature lady and just wants to enjoy each day. She prefers a soft bed to spending time in her crate but is accepting of either. She's not dependent on others for constant attention and interaction, but after spending time alone, BettyAnn lights up when she sees her people. She may not have been blessed with a loving family in her early life, but she's definitely ready for one now, and maybe a soft patch of grass to call her own. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. They do not jump on you but love affection. They don't bark much unless there is something or a noise behind the fence. They are not chewers, nor food aggressive and they are great with other dogs, people and children. We think they are ok with cats too. They don't dig in the yard and they love to eat! Nutmeg is approximately 4 years old and is a red heeler mix. He is always happy and gets along with other dogs and currently lives in a household with a cat. He is moderately playful and willing to follow other dogs leads. Because of his herding instinct he does nip at strangers that come on his turf. We aren't sure how he is with small children but believe he will do well with older ones. Nutmeg is housetrained, neutered and current on his vaccines. He doesn't like being in a crate so is loose in the house or outside. We feel he would be fine in a one dog family providing his human(s) has the desire and plenty of time to spend with him. A home visit is part of his adoption process so he is available for adoption in the immediate DFW area only. Hi there! My name is Cloud, and I`ve staying at the Grand Prairie Animal Shelter. Despite my name, I have a sunny personality!While I`ve been at the shelter, I`ve learned and felt alot of new things. I have learned to trust people. When I first arrived, I felt uneasy about everyone. But now, I like when people come up and talk to me! I`ve noticed that people, big and small, feel happy when I let them scratch behind my ears, and I feel happy too! One lady even kisses me all over my face. It`s fine... I just wipe them off when she`s not looking... I learned what `sit` means. It means cookies!! I love sitting. Maybe when you walk by my kennel, I will bark or jump at the window. All I`m trying to say is, please take me out and scratch my ears! I promise, if you adopt me, I will chase all the other clouds away. You`ll have sunshiney day everyday!
