Shadow is a loving , energetic young dog that loves walks and cuddles on the couch. He was dumped at my farm after hurricane Helene. He is used to small, medium and large dogs, but does not do well with cats. He has had all of his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is currently on flea and heartworm preventative. He is also microchipped and neutered on November 26th. He is crate trained so his crate and leash will travel with him once adopted. All of his care was handled by Southpointe Animal Hospital in Hephzibah Georgia.

Story
Dez is very adventurous! He is great off leash and loves to go camping or to the lake. He is very well trained and knows how to sit, stay, come, release, lay down, etc. He loves to play fetch, swim or lay next to the fire. He has always loved warmth and will bask in the sun for hours or if you have a fireplace, he will always snuggle up next to it. He loves fuzzy blankets and his favorite toy is his racquet ball. Food is his biggest motivation. He will do just about anything for a treat! Dez is also one of the smartest dogs I’ve ever met. Sometimes I think he understands English. We are very sad to rehome our Desmond. We’ve had him since he was a baby. He has gotten in a couple bad dog fights so we are very worried with our newborn being around him. He’s never been aggressive towards humans, we are just playing it safe. We would never forgive ourselves if something happened. We love Dez and want to make sure he goes to the perfect home. He’s been the best dog!

Story
Meet Chief! The Loyal, Lovable Best Friend You’ve Been Waiting For: Chief’s story began seven years ago in the rolling hills of Northwest Virginia. We first met him as a tiny, wiggling puppy full of promise and love, and he’s been a cherished member of our family ever since. We got Chief as a birthday gift for our daughter, and watching the bond between them grow has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. But now, as our family prepares for a cross-country move to California, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to find Chief a new home. Chief is a handsome, large dog with an even bigger heart. At seven years old, he is the perfect blend of youthful energy and maturity. He is already trained in some commands like sit & lay down, shake, & stay; and his willingness to please makes him a delight to be around. Chief loves companionship whether its a belly rub, or simply lying at your feet while you relax. Chief is ready to start a new chapter with a family who will cherish him.

Story
Jax is a big sweetheart of a guy! He’s still young and needs a fenced in yard to play and run around. He gets along with other dogs and loves people. Due to his size, he may not be suitable for a home with small children unless supervised. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body but doesn’t realize how big he is. He would make a wonderful addition to an active family. He is fully vetted and microchipped.Home visit required prior to adoption.
