Story
Shiloh is a very sweet 6 year old girl. The vet thinks she is Collie, Husky, Shepherd, but to me that face says there's Corgi in there somewhere! We adopted Shiloh from a rescue at 3 months old after someone discovered her and her litter mates thrown in a dumpster. She has always been timid, but as our kids have aged and our house has become increasingly noisy and active Shiloh has become unhappy and spends most of her time hiding in the basement. Shiloh is good with kids, adults and other dogs (she's never been around cats) but she does need a quieter/calmer home. She also loves a good bone, chasing a ball in the backyard, running through the snow and laying in front of the fireplace! The only reason she's not up to date on shots is because she's not a fan of going places.

Story
Kira is a 9 year old purebreed husky that we got at 12 weeks in lander Wyoming. She was not wanted because she was all White and had no black in her. At the time it was just me and my husband and other dog 9 years ago. Although due to our family growing we can no longer provide the necessary exercise she needs on a daily basis. She is use to running or a faster rythm that now she starts to pull. When she sees other dogs she is attracted to them but also barks we usually help her by redirecting her and she moves along calmly. At a home environment she is very calm and sweet and only wants to be next to someone so she can get some love. She is not spayed because the procedure has been a lot of money for us to pay, but she is really protective of herself and wont let dogs get on top of her. She gets a bump in her eye that grows, doctor said she needed surgery but it gows away by its self. She also loves to dig.

Story
I'm Quill, a one-year-old Blue Heeler mix with a heart full of love just waiting for the right family to share it with. I was in a new home for a little over a month but I continued to act shy & insecure, therefore I was returned to seek a different home. I might be timid initially, but I’m nothing but sweet. I’m seeking a home with patience & encouragement. I seem to prefer gentle, calm females. In my last home, there wasn’t a dog or child that I didn’t get along with. With my mild demeanor, the shelter staff thinks that I could likely get along with a dog-savvy cat. I’m very clean in my kennel but I stlll had some accidents in my old home. I just need some patience & am hoping for a home who will keep me at least 90 days, as the experts say that I’m not going to truly feel at home until this milestone. I’ve never been crate trained but the shelter staff would highly recommend it, because it can help puppy anxiety when my people are away. I'm ready to find my forever home where I can learn, play, and love unconditionally. If you think you could be the right match for a timid but loving guy like me, I can't wait to meet you!

Story
I'm Indi, a super sweet and affectionate 1.5-year-old pit bull mix, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! If you're searching for a loving companion who thrives on attention, then I might just be the perfect fit for you! I have a ton of energy and love to play, which makes me an excellent running partner! Whether it's a brisk jog or a fun game of fetch, I'm ready to keep you moving and smiling. I'm still young, so I have a lot of potential to be the best dog ever, but I could really use a family who will help me with some training. I promise to work hard to learn all the good stuff! I'm great with kids and other dogs, so I can't wait to join in on family adventures or playdates at the park. I haven't met any cats yet, but I'm open to introductions! If you're ready for a bundle of love and energy, let's meet! Together, we can make some amazing memories. Can't wait to meet my new family! Foster-to-adopt opportunity. Take me home today with a $50 deposit & bring me back for my spay & final adoption fee of $110+ tax.

Story
Raven is energetic, driven, and needs a person who can guide that energy & and drive in a productive direction. She is intelligent & once you have her trust & respect, she will work for you at whatever you train her and ask her to do. She has the drive of both the husky & the shepherd in her; teach her to do something well, she will do it for you for the rest of her life. She's a bit shy at first and likes to take her time warming up to new people & situations. But once she feels safe & trusts you, she's a sweet & affectionate companion. She will also protect you & your property from animals that shouldn't be there including strange dogs, cats, coyotes, porcupines, skunks, raccoons, & foxes. Oh, & she loves her routines and will be vocal about it if you aren't awake at the usual time to let her out to potty or to give her her breakfast or take her on a walk or have some playtime or to get to bed because she has a bedtime even if you don't. She's not typically a barker, but she will let you know when a stranger is approaching the property or if she sees anything "suspicious" outside. As long as she can watch out a window for when you come back after you've been gone for anywhere between 30 minutes and 8 hours, she will not whine or howl or destroy anything, but if you try to leave her shut in a room where she can't see you leave and then come back, she will start whining and digging at the bottom of the door and leave paint and woodchips everywhere. Raven already knows commands like “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” and “kennel." She LOVES snow & winter so much! When Raven gets excited or wants something really bad, she'll snap her jaws together. This isn't aggression, it's never close to skin, & is just her expressing that there's something she wants or needs. Also, she's a very affectionate girl, but really isn't a cuddler & thinks a hug means you want to play. She has a distinct play growl/yell when she folds herself in half against your legs & loves it if you join in the noise with her & scratch her sides and tickle her nose with her tail. Belly rubs are her weakness. Pepperoni is her favorite treat as well as the occasional frozen carrot. Introductions to anyone new, dog or person, should be done slowly, so that she can take time to get to know them. The ways to gain her acceptance the quickest is by using either food (since she is very food motivated) or by using play as she's also quite play motivated. She is not a super independent dog. She will still go do her own thing, but only with her person nearby & usually within her line of sight. She might not always want to be involved in what you're doing, but she definitely wants to be where you are. She would do best in a home with older kids who understand she needs space, or with a single female owner, as she tends to bond closely with one person & can be a bit protective of them. She's definitely more comfortable around women than men. Most of the issues she has are related to her breeds, both of them being protective and rather territorial, but they are issues that can be worked on by someone who understands those behaviors & has worked with similar breeds before. Her former owner wants to make it clear that she wasn't surrendered because she was unwanted or because of breed-related behaviors, but because of her declining health that has prevented her from exercising & training her properly. She also wanted any future owner to know that if you can put in the time & energy to socialize her & to train her well, she'll be the best dog, companion, protector, partner, and friend you could ever ask for.
