Story
What a beautiful and precious little pet I am! I am the perfect mixture of Spice and sweet. I love all people and I get along well with my doggy friends too! Chihuahua Rescue says:"Spice" is a darling and sweet gal. She is slightly timid but accepts a friendly pet and will allow herself to be picked up. In true "yorkie" character, she doesn't like to be confined and whines in a kennel, but is as good as gold when out of a kennel, laying on a soft bed or pillow. Spice will need encouragement with house manners, but having come from a multiple pet household, it sometimes takes time, but is not impossible. Spice is microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, started on preventatives, and will be spayed in the near future. She eats well. Her adoption fee is $350

Story
Bandit is a very loving, sweet dog. He is playful, especially likes to play fetch. All vet needs are up to date. He loves to curl up on your lap for a nap. His previous owner could no longer care for him. Bandit is housebroken and does great as long as you offer lots of breaks and notice his cues of needing to go outdoors. Local hot Indy) adoption only It takes him a while to warm up to new people. Bandit has some very chihuahua behaviors, he loves "his" person and will keep others away by doing a dance around the feet of the stranger and he "might" take a nip at the ankle. It's not representative of Bandit's overall super sweet and enjoyable personality. He likes to get up by your face and lay his head on you and then takes his paw and pats you on the face. It’s darling, and almost cat-like. If you’re looking for a great companion, Bandit would be great for you. Bandit just had his teeth cleaned at the vet and he is current on flea and heartworm meds as well as routine vaccines. He's not a big eater, he does like treats, and he is crate trained. He is fine with other friendly dogs. Bandit's adoption fee is $350 and he's ready for adoption now. Fostered by sphil

Story
Meet Vincent, or as we call him, Vinny! Vinny is a 2 year old, 60 pound, sweetheart. Vinny is a gentle soul, he loves love. He is also 100% a good boy. His foster mommy says he can do no wrong! Vinny often follows her around the house, and lays down to watch her while she cooks or cleans. Vinny is potty trained. He knows sit, down, and his personal favorite, shake. He loves to give you his paw when you’re petting him. He does not enjoy the crate too much but only because he’s been in it for most of his life. He is however, able to be left out when you’re not home. Vinny is dog friendly and loves to play. We are unsure about cats or kids, but he is very laid back. Vinny was born with deformed back legs. He has been seen by a few vets who all say that unfortunately there’s not much to do but monitor him. This doesn’t affect his walking or running at all. Vinny hasn’t had the best life, and at 6 months old, ended up in the shelter. He was adopted from there and later returned covered in feces and about 20 pounds lighter. We cannot say enough good things about him. Inquire about him today!

Story
Bonnie is around 7 years old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. She gets along well with both dogs and people. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and proficient in basic commands. According to her foster mom, she responds positively to correction and is a quick learner. This sweet girl is eager to offer love to those around her. She loves belly rubs, car rides, water play, walks, and more, showcasing her youthful spirit. Peanut butter is her absolute favorite treat, and she'd be grateful for an occasional indulgence. To ensure Bonnie's safety, a fenced-in yard is essential, preferably with a privacy fence to deter her from leaping after squirrels, birds, or seeking attention from the mailman. Bonnie prefers being indoors, making her an ideal companion. If you can provide the love and care she deserves, consider filling out an application. Whether you're interested in fostering, adopting, or exploring foster-to-adopt options, please reach out to us. Help Bonnie find the loving home she's been waiting for!
