Story
Meet sweet Willow. Willow is believed to be a Pittie/Akita mix girl. She is just as cute as they come. She came to us from an overcrowded southern Indiana shelter. She is an active and happy girl. She can be dog selective, and is leash-reactive, so would be best as an only pet with a fenced yard. If you`d like to meet Willow, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
River is a beautiful 3 year old dog who was adopted previously and recently returned through no fault of hers. She is submissive with other dogs, but loves to play hard. She is extremely rambunctious and would benefit from some behavior modification training. She seems to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and, requires a good deal of mental and physical stimulation. She can be affectionate and cuddly after a long day of physical exercise. We don’t know her past, but she came to us on the skinny side and can be shy in new environments. She tends to be much more confident with another four legged friend around. If you enjoy outdoor activities, River will be your best buddy. If you`d like to meet her, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Rascal

Hound (Unknown Type)

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Story
Rascal was an owner surrender at a high kill shelter and came to Misty Eyes to find his forever home. For a young dog, he was surprisingly well behaved in his foster home and was soon adopted. Sadly, he was recently returned because he did not get along with the other dogs in the home. Like most young dogs, Rascal would benefit from training, and he`s eager to learn. He would do well with an active family who can give him a good deal of mental and physical stimulation. Because he can be reactive to other dogs, it would be best if he is the only dog in his new home. If you`d like to meet Rascal, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
This handsome boy, Kai, is a lab mix who came to Misty Eyes, along with his siblings, from a high-kill shelter. He was adopted, but, sadly was recently returned due to family changes. Kai is a somewhat high-strung dog and is not recommended for apartment living. He can be very vocal. He does best with a fenced yard where he can free roam. Kai is a strong puller on-leash and definitely needs some behavior modification training. He is excitable and lunges when meeting other dogs on leash, or when meeting strangers. Because he is excitable and boisterous, he would do best with children over the age of 12. Kai is housebroken and crate-trained, although he is not a fan of being crated. When allowed freedom in the house, he has not been destructive. If you`d like to meet Kai, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Stanley came to Misty Eyes with his littermates to find a forever home. He`s an adorable black-and-white pup, thought to be a Lab-mix. He was adopted, but was recently returned due to the owner`s health. He`s living in a foster home with other dogs and has done well learning about potty habits and being a `good boi.` If you`d like to meet Stanley, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Harry is another homeless dog who found himself at an overcrowded, high-kill shelter. Misty Eyes brought him into a foster home where he can work on his social skills and learn more about being a good companion dog. He is friendly and was non-reactive when tested with another dog and cats. If you`d like to meet Harry, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.
