Story
Born March 11, 2023. Groundhog (now Theo/Teddy) was adopted from us as a 9-week old puppy. His mom and dad are both chihuahua mixes. He is nearly 50% chihuahua and 20% pug while the rest of him is a Heinz 57 mix. He has outgrown both of his parents and was actually returned to us for being "too big." At his recent vet visit, he weighed 30 lbs. He's a solid chunk with very much of a pug thick body and the adorable curly Q tail. Teddy loves blankets and curling up in them. He is not a fan of veterinary visits and will need an adopter willing to work with him on that.   He is housetrained and knows basic commands.. Apply online at www.4pups.org by clicking the Adopt button under his photo.. Adoption fee is $175. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. ##1697944##

Story
Cheeto is a nearly 3-year old long-haired chihuahua mix. He came to our rescue after his owner passed away. He can be a little shy at first but once he warms up he's a big lover boy. Cheeto is super playful and just an all around fun, little love bug. He enjoys snuggle time and gets along well with other dogs. He has not been around cats (that we are aware of) but we doubt he'd have any issues getting along with them. He's a pretty easy going fella. Cheeto has been aruond children ages 4-8 and did well with them. Toddlers might be a bit too intimidating for him as he prefers calm over busyness. Cheeto's adoption fee is $175 and includes a vet wellness check, age-appropriate vaccinations, neuter and microchip. If interested in meeting/adopting Cheeto, please visit our website at www.4pups.org and click the Adopt button under his photo to complete an application. ##2231460##

Story
Saylor is a very sweet, partially DEAF, 3-yr old, full-blooded Dalmation who weighs around 60 lbs.. She is not completely deaf but is more what could be considered as "hard of hearing." Saylor came into the resuce with Marina Anchor and the two are very attached. While a home for them together would be fantastic, we are willing to consider separating them. Saylor is currently on a chicken-free diet as she's prone to hot spots and the chicken-free food seems to keep them at bay. Saylor needs an ACTIVE owner who would like to take an interest in training her - something her former owners neglected. She is dog friendly and enjoys toys. She can be destructive and acts more like a 6-month old puppy than a 3-year old adult dog. Saylor is crate trained and it is recommended that she be in a crate when unable to be supervised.. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Since Saylor does have multiple issues that could make it difficult for her to adjust in a new home we are seeking adopters within the Central Indiana area and are not considering out of state adoptions at this time.. Saylor Grace's adoption fee is $150 and includes microchip and recent vet well visit if adopted singlely. If adopted along with Marina Anchor the adoption fee for both together is $250. ##2136378##

Bluetick Coonhound Dalmatian

Story
Marina is 50% Dalmation/50% Bluetick coonhound and was adopted from us by a couple 4 years ago as a puppy and was recently returned by her owners when they moved. We also took in Marina's "sibling":Saylor, who is partially deaf. The two girls are extremely close and while a home for them together would be amazing, we will consider separating them. Marina weighs 80lbs and is a big, solid girl. She is very loyal to her person and would make an excellent companion to a single person looking for companionship. She is 90% a very good dog. She gets a little nervous in new situations, but she warms up quickly. Marina had multiple hot spots when she came to us, but we have switched her to a chicken-free diet and had her and she is not currently having any issues. She is part hound so its 50/50 if she listens when you call her or not. However, she is dog and people friendly and would thrive with a human to call her own Marina is chipped, up to date on shots and spayed. If adopted on her own, her adoption fee is $150. If adopted with Saylor Grace the adoption fee for both together is $250. ##794626##

Story
Is your dog looking to adopt a dog for companionship? Rob would love to be your dog's best buddy. He would love them and squeeze them and snuggle them and spend every moment of the day with them and the best part is that he would not bother you at all. It would be like you still only had one dog! Rob is the absolute perfect gift for the dog in your life that desperately needs a friend. Since we know your dog isn't made of money, we'd be happy to trade for a couple of good chew bones, or a nice 40lb bag of good quality dog food, or even a nice bolster pet bed. You can let your dog know that we are open for negotiations. In case you didn't get the inference, Rob does not care for humans. He will hang out in the same room with you and will even sleep in your bed if you allow him too. What he won't do is snuggle with you, let you pet him or get leashed up easily. He is 100% a dog's dog and is perfectly happy with his doggie besties. However, HE DOES NOT PLAY. He just likes to cuddle with his dog buddies. Rob is not completely housebroken but will accompany his doggie friends out to do his business. In all honesty, his only redeeming characteristic is how cute he is. He has been in his current foster home for nearly two years and still barks at his foster mom as if he has never met her before in his life.  Rob will need someone willing to foster to adopt to make sure his adopter can handle his idiocinracies so anyone looking to adopt him needs to be within a 2-hour drive of Cloverdale indiana. Rob cannot easily be leashed, so a home with a fenced in yard would be best. Rob needs an adopter that is up to the challenge of having a dog that may not ever like you. Are you the needle in the haystack we are looking for? Side Note: Rob has been in a foster to adopt home for nearly 2 months and did fairly well but the other dog in the home ultimately has decided they cannot be friends. If you'd like to find out more about Rob on your dog's behalf, give us a call at (317) 899-8483 ##1494427##
