PLEASE READ: Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable dogs! All dogs listed are still available. If interested, please complete our no obligation application. This can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Select the Applications tab, then Adoption Application. THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN START THE PROCESS. It can take up to a week to process an application. We are an all-volunteer rescue so please be patient. Our adoption area is limited to a 4 hour radius of Indianapolis. We try our best to provide all information in our bios. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask during the interview process. Some of our dogs have special requirements such as needs another dog in the home or requires a physical and permanent fenced yard. These requirements are not negotiable. Unless otherwise noted, we do not cat test our adoptable dogs. We also require that all pets in your household be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm/flea preventative. E-MAILS: We do not respond to e-mail inquiries without an application. We regret that we cannot respond to every e-mail unless you fill out an application. All the dogs we offer for adoption have been spayed/neutered, wormed and microchipped, are up-to-date on immunizations, have been tested for heartworm and are currently receiving a monthly preventative. If the dog had additional medical issues, those have also been addressed. Visit our website www.waldosmuttleycrew.org for more information and to complete an application. Ogden, or Oggie Doggie as we like to call him, has such a zest for life!!! He loves people and attention ... armpit scratches and ear rubs are a favorite of his!!! Oggie is a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound/pointer mix weighing about 65 lbs. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is constantly involved in games of chase and wrestling. He is slightly dominant with males so, although he does play with other males well, would do best in a home with a playful girlfriend. Oggie is high energy so needs a large yard with at least a 5 foot fence; he can easily jump over anything shorter and will do so if he spots a bunny. He loves toys but is a "slayer" of the stuffed ones; they then have to be buried in shallow graves in the yard. LOL! Ogden is sure to keep you laughing with his antics; he has such a huge personality! His perfect home will be one where he won't have to be crated for long hours, a large yard with a 5 foot or higher fence, and must have a very playful female dog to be his best friend. Oggie Doggie's adoption fee is $225; he's neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Applications are available at waldosmuttleycrew.org . Chihuahua Jack Russell Terrier

Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Taffeta & Chiffon go together like apple pie & ice cream! These two are sisters from different litters; they came from a hoarder who had over 60 dogs in the home. Taffeta has the lighter colored face and is 1 1/2 years old; Chiffon has the darker face and is about 1 year old. The girls are a mix of about 5 breeds ... chihuahua/jack russell is what we will list but those round ears are definitely corgi like! And there may be a smidge of dachshund in them as well. Taffeta & Chiffon are just a hoot!!! They are constantly wrestling & rolling around & tearing around the house in games of chase. When they tire of these antics, they are the absolute best snuggle bugs ever! They wrap themselves up around your neck and cuddle in as close to you as they can get. They give the softest, gentlest kisses as well! The girls are still lacking in socialization with people and will bark at strangers; they will need patience and calm training in order to learn that newcomers are not a threat. For this reason, they would not do well in homes with children 16 and under. Taffeta & Chiffon will also need a very secure fenced in yard in which they expend some of their energy. With their fear issues, walking daily on leashes would be too much for them at this point. Chiffon has a "cherry eye" which is scheduled to be removed at the same time as her spay on October 20th. We are only placing the pair with local adopters so that we can assist with integration and socialization for the girls. The adoption fee for the pair is $400; they will be spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and current on heartworm/flea preventative. (Indianapolis area)

Story
Cashmere is such a fun-loving girl! She LOVES water and a pool is really must for this girl in the summer time! But she also enjoys racing around the yard with her boyfriends. She does like to the "girl in charge" and can be quite bossy with other females so will need to go to a home with an active male dog to keep her company. Cashmere came from a hoarder situation with over 50 dogs in the house so has never lived without other canines around so being an only dog won't be an option for her. Although slightly tentative in new situations and with new people, she warms up quickly and just loves getting attention. She is ecstatic when you pet her and tell her how smart she is. Cashmere is a high energy girl so a fenced in yard is a must so that she run and play with her new boyfriend as much as she wants. She does well on a leash with an occasional need for gentle coaxing if she is entering a new environment, llke entering the vet's office. Cashmere's adoption fee is $200; she is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Applications can be completed at waldosmuttleycrew.org . (Indianapolis area)
