Story
Meet Panda! This sweet short-rider is a 2 year old pit bull mix looking for a warm lap and a fun yard to play in! She loves to run and play, but when it's time to settle down, she will find a lap and snooze the afternoon away. She does like to play with other dogs and so far as done well with the male foster dog she's been introduced to, but she does have a pretty forward personality with other dogs so she would need a friend who can tolerate her being pushy and correcting her when appropriate. Her previous home says she is good with cats, however she seems a little too interested for comfort in the foster cats, so we are still trying to figure out if she can placed with cats or not. She has shown us no reason she wouldn't do well with kids as she seems to love all people! She also is crate trained and appears to be house trained. Panda's adoption fee is $100 and she will come fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and is currently on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee also includes a one-time training consultation with our training partner, It's a Breeze Dog Training, to help integrate her into your home! If you are interested in meeting sweet Panda, please complete an adoption application through our website - www.helpingpawsonline.com/adoption-application

Story
Meet Bronx! This absolute sweetheart of a dog who came to Helping Paws from the shelter. He is approximately 5 years old and is very dog and people friendly - he especially loves men. He pretty much ignores cats in his foster home. We would recommend older children thanks to his rough and tumble play style :) Bronx is both housetrained and crate trained. He loves to run and play, but also is a wonderful snuggle buddy at the end of the day. Bronx's adoption fee is $100 and he comes fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and has been on heartworm and flea prevention. Bronx's adoption fee also includes a one-time training consultation with our training partner, It's a Breeze Dog Training, to help integrate him into your home! If you'd like to meet Bronx, the first step would be to complete an adoption application through our website - www.helpingpawsonline.com/adoption-application

Story
Meet Atlas! This 5 year old beautiful boy is looking for the perfect home to call his own! When he came to Helping Paws, he lacked a lot of confidence with new people and situations. He's come a long way since then. He still can be nervous with new men, but he lives in a foster home with a man and two teenage boys and their relationship has blossomed! He seems to do better with female dogs and puppies - slow introductions are best. We would not recommend a home with cats. Because of his nervous nature, we will not adopt out to a home with small children. Atlas is housetrained and crate trained, knows basic commands, and has been working on his leash manners. Atlas' adoption fee is $100 and he will come fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and currently on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Atlas' adoption fee also includes a one-time training consultation with our training partner, It's a Breeze Dog Training, to help integrate him into your home! Story
Meet Sissy! This approximately 10-year-old girl is the perfect couch potato to spend your downtime with! She would love a quiet home to spend her golden years being adored for the queen she is :) Sissy is good with both male and female dogs, but is definitely bossier and needs a friend that lets her be bossy. She ignores cats for the most part. She doesn't do well with smaller children but lives with teenagers currently that she adores! Sissy is housetrained and crate trained and is very food motivated. She has had some issues with allergies and has to take Apoquel on and off, but she's otherwise healthy and requires no other daily medications. Sissy's adoption fee is sponsored (with approved application) and she will come fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. She has also recently had bloodwork and all looks great! Her adoption fee also includes a one-time training consultation with our training partner, It's a Breeze Dog Training, to help integrate her into your home! Interested in meeting Sissy? Story
Meet Aristotle! This very special approximately 3-year-old boy is looking for a special home to call his own! He was found as a stray and is very timid with people. He has opened up A LOT to his foster family and loves to give kisses and cuddles, but new people and environments are still a struggle for him, and he will require an owner to have patience with him. He can and will go over a 6-foot fence, so he will need to be on a leash when outside. He is very much a husky in so many ways - independent, silly, and stubborn :) He is very dog friendly, and we will require him to go to a home with a confident dog that he can learn from. He gets excited to see cats, must mostly ignores them after the initial excitement wears off. We are working on house and crate training, and he is very used to wearing a male wrap when in the house while learning. Aristotle's adoption fee is $100 and he will come fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee also includes a one-time training consultation with our training partner, It's a Breeze Dog Training, to help integrate him into your home! Interested in meeting Aristotle?
