Story
This has been my dog for 10 years. I got him as a puppy and as he has gotten older he has been getting more and more behavioral issues around just my other male dog. He marks around the house which started a couple years after getting my other male dog and wears male dog diapers to maintain a clean house. He just recently has started showing more aggressive behaviors as well go after the male dog when being more protective of things like his little human brothers and sister and around food. With all the kids and the inability to maintain good hygiene around the house it has just gotten too much to handle. He is a very sweet and loving dog when he is alone with no other dogs.

Story
Indiana Jane (Indy) is a deaf, loyal, & sweet girl who always wants to be by your side. She is a cuddle bug & believes she is a lap dog. She is smart & eager to please and attended obedience school. She is an excellent passenger on car rides, & walks well on-leash. Her favorite activity is to play fetch. In the summer she loves to splash around in a kiddie pool. She is shy at first with new faces but within 2 minutes warms up to people and her tail starts wagging & she loves getting pets and playing with new friends. She has been to doggie daycare many times & has passed temperament testing & always gets good notes of her group play. She does not have any issues with going to the vet, getting groomed, or having her nails trimmed. All employees who work with her at these businesses rave about how sweet she is & how much they love her. Our other dog has become more and more aggressive, for everyone's safety we have made the hard decision to find Indy a new loving & safe home

Story
My sisters dogs had an unplanned litter of nine puppies and they were not able to get them all adopted so I tried to help with Winnie but I’m dealing my own health stuff as well as a few other things that make taking care of Winnie something I can no longer do well… she turned one in December and she had her first heat in late December early January. She is fast and goofy and very playful. She has so much energy and she needs space to get it out my home does not offer that since moving and I’m not able to get her out to our parks as much due to my health. She’s such a caring dog I deal with a lot of mental health issues as well as physical health issues and she loves to come make me feel better. Don’t cry near her unless you want her to want to hug and kiss you and maybe even try to hug you. She has a curly tail like her daddy blue(all white with the purestn blue eyes, husky shepherd mix) and her face shape and floppy ears remind me of her momma(purebred weim).

Story
We picked Koda up as a puppy from a farm in NC back in 2019. He has grown to the most handsome and loyal good boy. He loves following commands, being walked and chasing sticks around the yard. He has gone through professional training with an Ecollar which will be included with adoption. We can no longer keep Koda due to him being reactive with our 1.5 year old toddler and us planning to have more babies. He is best suited in a home where he can be exercised and played with on a regular basis. It takes him some time to warm up to strangers and especially other dogs. He shared a home with our other large mix breed female dog his entire life.

PLEASE READ: Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable dogs! All dogs listed are still available. If interested, please complete our no obligation application. This can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Select the Applications tab, then Adoption Application. THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN START THE PROCESS. It can take up to a week to process an application. We are an all-volunteer rescue so please be patient. Our adoption area is limited to a 4 hour radius of Indianapolis. We try our best to provide all information in our bios. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask during the interview process. Some of our dogs have special requirements such as needs another dog in the home or requires a physical and permanent fenced yard. These requirements are not negotiable. Unless otherwise noted, we do not cat test our adoptable dogs. We also require that all pets in your household be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm/flea preventative. E-MAILS: We do not respond to e-mail inquiries without an application. We regret that we cannot respond to every e-mail unless you fill out an application. All the dogs we offer for adoption have been spayed/neutered, wormed and microchipped, are up-to-date on immunizations, have been tested for heartworm and are currently receiving a monthly preventative. If the dog had additional medical issues, those have also been addressed. Visit our website www.waldosmuttleycrew.org for more information and to complete an application. Ogden, or Oggie Doggie as we like to call him, has such a zest for life!!! He loves people and attention ... armpit scratches and ear rubs are a favorite of his!!! Oggie is a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound/pointer mix weighing about 65 lbs. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is constantly involved in games of chase and wrestling. He is slightly dominant with males so, although he does play with other males well, would do best in a home with a playful girlfriend. Oggie is high energy so needs a large yard with at least a 5 foot fence; he can easily jump over anything shorter and will do so if he spots a bunny. He loves toys but is a "slayer" of the stuffed ones; they then have to be buried in shallow graves in the yard. LOL! Ogden is sure to keep you laughing with his antics; he has such a huge personality! His perfect home will be one where he won't have to be crated for long hours, a large yard with a 5 foot or higher fence, and must have a very playful female dog to be his best friend. Oggie Doggie's adoption fee is $225; he's neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Applications are available at waldosmuttleycrew.org . Story
Laszlo & Cassidy are a bonded pair and are volunteer favorites! Laszlo is a 5-year-old Corgi mix who weighs about 20 lbs. Cassidy is a 3-year-old terrier mix who weighs about 40 lbs. This duo will have your ribs hurting as you laugh at the fun when they are wrestling, playing chase and doing zoomies around the yard. Cassidy is a social butterfly and is always the first one to greet people at Waldo's Dog Dorm. She just thrives on attention and wants tons of loving. She's a very active girl who needs plenty of room to run. Cassidy loves toys and is fabulous with all other dogs and people. She was dumped at a kill shelter which is where we saved her. We have found that she becomes very anxious and fearful around children younger than 10 years of age; this has led us to believe that in her original home there were young children who didn't respect her space and pulled her fur/tail and traumatized her which is likely the reason for her being left at the shelter. Laszlo was a stray who survived at the Morgan County Fairgrounds from the time he was 6 months old until he was finally trapped at 18 months. He was totally feral when we got him and avoided people at all costs. However, this wonderful boy has learned that chest rubs and ear scratches are heavenly; Laszlo won't take treats until he is massaged and scratched; touch is his "love language" ... he craves it more than treats. Laszlo does still need continued rehabilitation after the trauma he experienced during his first year and a half of life. A quiet, loving, patient home with few visitors will be necessary for him. Because of his experience of having long choke tethers on the end of metal poles on him by animal control officers, he is still very fearful of leashes/harnesses. We will provide training techniques to whoever adopts him to help with this, but it's doubtful that her will ever be comfortable taking walks on a leash due to this past trauma. Both of these dogs have so much love to give. What you invest in them in time and love will be returned in spades! Their playfulness along with their love of being massaged & rubbed make them such wonderful family members who will bring smiles and joy to whoever adopts them. Their perfect home will have a VERY SECURE fenced-in yard, no children under 16; as well as a calm, peaceful environment with experienced dog owners who provide positive reinforcement and lots of praise. Whoever adopts Laszlo and Cassidy will be very lucky indeed! The adoption fee for the pair is $325; both are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and kept on year-round heartworm/flea preventative.
