Story
This handsome chap is 2 year old! He has been in foster care for almost 600 days and he is really wishing for a Furever Family of his own! This goofy quirky guy has a lot of love to give and just wants a buddy to hang with at home. He would be happy as an only dog or with a cool and tolerant furry friend. He has lived w/kitties before, but his current foster home doesn’t have any so he hasn’t been around them for a year and would need to get reacquainted. His favorite things are kongs and chew bones filled with goodies, yak chews and dental treats, water puddles, and playing in the yard. His Furever Family Top 3 Must Haves are: 1. A family who isn’t afraid of his quirky antics. 2. A couch to chill and cuddle w/his person on. *awkward but champion cuddler alert* 3. And a yard to play in (preferably 6ft Privacy) If you’d like to be the lucky person to adopt this sweet boy, head over to our website and fill out an application! www.bluegrassdobermanrescue.org

Story
Meet Macy! This is what her foster parents had to say: "Macy May has the sweetest puppy head tilts you’ve ever seen. I swear she’s really taking in all the words you say. She loves meeting new people and shows it by shaking it like a salt shaker. Her favorite show is “Snapped”. Ok. Maybe her foster parents are true crime connoisseurs but she doesn’t seem to mind. Regardless, She’s a loving yet independent girl. Shes a curious gal but can also be easily entertained with a new chew toy. That is, until those puppy zoomies hit and she’ll having your head spinning and double over laughing. Macy is a low maintenance pup. Such a good temperament and not super attention seeking however she loves to curl up and fall asleep on your lap. She’s done great learning to walk on the leash and loves to play with her puppy brother and older foster fur siblings. Shes Comfortable around other dogs and new people and is currently working on potty training." Macy is a female, 16 week old lab mix. She will be spayed and UTD on shots. Her adoption fee is $200.00. Story
Goofy is just what his name says, GOOFY! Goofy was pulled from LMAS because he needed longer to get a home because of his special needs. This what his foster parents had to say about him: "Goofy is the sweetest! He's basically a brindle colored tank! He loves being anywhere you are. He loves giving kisses and hugs. He tends to put his whole body weight on you when he loves on you because he just doesn't know what personal space is. His tail hasn't stopped wagging since he's been with us. He's really just a happy dog! He's so happy, he probably wouldn't make the best guard dog because he just wags his tail at every delivery person or neighbor he sees out of the window. At first he was timid, scared and confused but now everyone is his friend! Sometimes he gets things he's not supposed to like shoes or a cat dishes but he always just brings them to us and then walks away. When you tell him no about it, he just wags his tail and gives you a half smile. He loves going on walks and does well on a leash. He always needs something to do so toys in abundance are his best friends! He will even bring those to you to show them off! When he gets super excited, he chatters his teeth and drools a little. Unfortunately we haven't been able to successfully integrate him in with our other dogs and cats, we think he's just too fearful. So he would be best in an only pet home. Although he does seem to like to watch the bearded dragon! He would also be best with older children. Someone needs a little goofy in their lives, why not adopt this goofy guy??" Goofy is a neutered, 2 year old, Treeing Tennessee Brindle/Pit mix. He is UTD on vaccines and microchipped. He also comes with a donated training package to his adopters. If you aren't ready to adopt, Goofy is also looking for a foster home so his current foster parents can help save other special needs dogs. Please fill out an application on our website for this sweet guy or reach out with any questions!

Story
Ramsey came to us from a shelter as a stray, we are estimating him to be around 4 years old. He has been out playing with a female GSP in his foster home and has been fine, also been ok with the kitties. Loves to play with toys but must be supervised with stuffed toys or they will be destroyed. Crate trained but gets anxious if left alone too long so he needs to be with a family where someone is home a lot (as in retired or works from home). Ramsey is a big love bug but takes a little time to get to know a stranger. However, you will always know when someone is coming because Ramsey will let you know. Since Ramsey was stray, we believe it is best he be in a home with a physical fence.
