Story

We got Hades when he was a puppy and he is now 5.5 years old. He is a guard dog so he can be pretty skeptical upon meeting strangers. Prefer a home with someone who has experience with his breed, no other dogs or cats and either no children or children who are older. We have 3 children of our own (two teens and a 2 year old). Due to personal reasons we were not able to keep him updated with vaccines or get him neutered. Hades is house trained but he does suffer with anxiety and separation, so he does have an occasional accident. He is crate trained but doesn’t always enjoy it. He has broken a few cages throughout the years from jumping on them. Knows some commands (sit, shake, lay/down), I’ve been trying to work on “stay” for the last few years but it isn’t sticking. He does good on “stay” for a few seconds. Even though he is 5.5 yrs old, he still has the energy of a puppy. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to keep him as our landlord is selling our home

Xena is a female large mixed breed, no clue what dad is, mom is a Catahoula Shepherd mix. She is up to date on shots, potty trained but will have an accident every once in a while but is good very good at potty training and getting used to the dog door at her new foster home, spayed, and good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Xena loves to run and play!! And she loves her toys and bones!! She is very scared at first in a new environment, so she will need a little time to adjust, but once she does, she is a great girl! She would love to have a home with a fenced-in yard for her to run and play!
