Story

We found Brutus in a trailer park after he was abandoned by his original owner. He's a young dog, but he hates being left alone and he has some behavioral issues. (gets excited and will jump on you without any warning which can be a little scary to some people) He loves chewing things. He's a great walking dog, always on high alert. He's a sweet boy, but a little slow. All he needs is someone who has enough time on their hands to train him. His groin area may need surgery that we cannot afford. He has a permanent "lipstick" and he pees in a different direction. He cannot sit properly and will lay on his butt rather than a normal sit pose like a regular dog. He cannot tolerate any wet food. Ultimately, we are already breaking the bank with our elderly dog Oakley that is nearing the end stages of her life and we would like to focus on her health during this difficult time as we are also moving in a week.

Meiko is 8+ years old. She is a very loving but very needy and I believe she has anxiety as she likes to chew when someone isn’t around. The other issue is I had to mark her as a dangerous dog for a completely accidental incident that my neighbors would vouch for but I had no way of fighting it in court.

Jackson was adopted from the Humane society of Greate Dayton at 4 months old. Jackson is very sweet and extremely smart. He loves to play, and is super friendly. I watch my grandaughters all week who are still under 5 years old. As a result he is not getting the attention I feel he deserves. I belive he would thrive in a home with a large back yard and an owner that is able to devote more time with him.

Charlie is an energetic, loving, silly and wonderful dog! He loves romping in the backyard, stealing your soft clothing and running away, snuggling on the couch after a long hike! He is so sweet and wonderful with children. Charlie is almost 5yrs old, a purebred Sheltie. He is high alert and does need a lot of exercise. He will likely do best with energetic children, and possibly another mild mannered dog. Charlie is such a special dog and he needs another loving home that has more time to give him the attention he deserves! It pains us greatly to let him go, but we are self employed with a toddler and another baby on the way. We simply don't have time to give Charlie the special attention he needs. You will get his food/water dish, crate (he is crate trained and sleeps best in there), grooming supplies, leash, harness, remaining food, toys. You may also take over his health insurance, $42 a month We love him dearly and would like to see him go to a loving family!
