Story

Ralphie was rescued from a kill shelter in New York City. He was dropped off at Animal Care Centers of NY on Nov 24, 2023. Happy Go Lucky Mastiff Rescue (located in Maryland) sponsored a foster in Albany, NY to get him out of the shelter in early December. The foster caregiver had to relocate, so I picked Ralphie up in Albany, NY on May 1, 2024 and brought him to Ohio. Ralphie is microchipped, but his name was not available, so we used his shelter ID (RAL188002) and after referring to him as Ral so often, I suggested we just call him Ralphie. Ralphie was neutered in April before I picked him up and he received all shots required in New York. He has all shots required for Ohio. Ralphie is reactive to other dogs and pulls very hard whenever he is on a leash. Ralphie may not be a good fit for households with young children because he is so energetic and often gets the zoomies. I am working with Ralphie to fix his behavior issues, and I think that he really can be a good boy!

The decision to re-home Azalea has been hard for us as we care deeply for her. She's grown up with 4 active teenagers that have all moved out or are now working/in school full time. She is bored and is home alone a lot which breaks our hearts. She deserves a place to play, socialize, and have more freedom. She was born April 17, 2019 and has always been great with dogs, cats, and kids. She's strong and should have a gentle lead while walking/hiking.

Once he feels safe, this small, adorable pup becomes a total cuddle bug, always ready to curl up beside you and be your loyal little shadow. Because he can be a bit nervous around strangers, Tahoe would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands the value of patience and gentle introductions. He's was house-trained once before and unfortunately with the addition of our son regressed for some reason, so he has the occasional accident, but with a little guidance and consistency, he'll keep improving! Tahoe gets along well with other pets, making him a great addition if you already have furry family members.

Had her since she was 3 mo old. She is 5yrs old. She is a sweet girl that likes to snuggle. She like to go on car rides as well. She is playful and energetic and loves kids. She loves stuffed animals. She is ok with women but uncertain around men due to prior abuse from an ex husband. I have tried to find her and her son (Alec) a home with family and friends but no one can take her/them. She does need to be an only dog other than her son as she gets jealous and an Alpha with other dogs. Not that way with people though.

Hi meet Thor a 6 month old coonhound puppy! Hes had a rough start to life he was found abandoned on the side of the road in a crate with his siblings. I found him when he was 3 months old he had parvo and was skin and bones. He has a clean slate of health and is up to date on all shots(with paper work) however is still slowly gaining weight(vet says it’s because he’s growing so fast!) he is a very pushy puppy and has been pushing boundaries with other dogs but is dog friendly. He chases cats. He loves kids but he 0 boundaries. He does have some anxiety issues mostly around the cage. He’s a sweet dog that needs a lot of tlc and requires a lot of exercise.
