Story
Reyna is a very sweet and loving yet timid mixed breed dog. We believe she was abused by her previous family in some way, please give her lots of love, patience and time to adjust to her new family. She will lay on the couch with you for hours or go on walks with you to explore outdoors. Reyna knows basic commands such as sit, stay, etc. Reyna is NOT a dog park dog. She can get aggressive when she feels threatened by other dogs. Reyna is best suited to be the only dog in a household, and is more people oriented. We have cared for Reyna since she was a small puppy and many of her previous tendencies are still around - tucks tail in many situations, hesitant to trust, eats incredibly fast (uses a slow feeder bowl), moves if people are directly behind her. She has never been aggressive towards any people while in our home. Reyna is house and kennel trained. She is leash trained for walks. Kennel, bed, bowls and some toys will move with her for comfort in her new home.

Story
Hi! my name is Minnie- I just moved to Cincinnati, OH. I'm a sweet and smart girl who is quick to learn and eager to please. I love snuggle and playtime. A good, long scratch makes me really happy, and I'll give you love eyes to show you my appreciation. I'd love to be your companion; I've lived with other dogs, adults, and kiddos. At around 42 lbs, I'm athletic and healthy and about 18" tall at my withers. Army crawling across the floor or grass is my favorite way to get a good stretch. I’m crate and house trained, know how to sit, wait, give you my paw, and can walk nicely on my leash. I would LOVE to meet you!

Story
This is my neighbor dog, she needs to rehome him and his dog sister because she lost her job and she is also very sick. Sparky is a great dog but he also jumps the fence so the owner built a little house for him in the backyard. This is a very gentle dog that needs someone who love him, exercise him and have a taller fence so he won't be able to escape.

Annie is a great dog but needs more attention and care than what the current owner can provide. Annie had a litter of 10 puppies last December and another liter in May 2024, so she urgently needs to be neutered. She will be spayed by the end of July. She is very sweet, good with other dogs and with kids. she is house trained and very docile.

Story
COURTESY POST * This animal is not physically in LTR care, they continue to live with the owner. * The adoption/application process is the same for these dogs as any other dog in our rescue. * LTR has not evaluated this pet. * All personality information is provided by the owner and is assumed to be honest and accurate. * The adoption fee/donation for helping rehome the pet is the same as LTR establishes fees. Enzo is a very sweet and loyal dog. He wants to be protective of his family which can be a challenge with young children he doesn't know. He has never bitten a human. Enzo loves to play fetch with balls, swim and walk in the woods. He would make a great companion for someone who is familiar with dogs and is in a quiet adult only household. We are making the difficult decision to rehome our sweet dog Enzo. Enzo is an all-white, 100lb, 2-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix. His DNA results show he is 50% German Shepherd, 25% lab and 25% border collie. We adopted Enzo from a rescue at a farm in Mississippi when he was four months old. He is an incredibly loyal dog who likes to work. He has been in pack dog training since we adopted him and is always around dogs. Since Enzo was a puppy, we have been working with two different trainers, including behavioral training. He is very smart and good at his commands. Still, Enzo is very protective of his humans, which can be problematic in a neighborhood environment where many unknown kids and other animals are coming and going. Enzo loves running, digging, chasing, chewing on balls, and swimming. Enzo is in his element while in the woods and following new scents. His perfect home is one where he has ample outdoor space to run and explore in. Enzo is up to date with his vaccinations and neutered.
