Lexi becomes anxious on walks and out in public and wants to protect her handler. She prefers to stay at home. This cutie is athletic and requires a 6 ft privacy fenced yard. Lexi is house trained and knows basic commands.

Meet Cherry 🍒 2 year old, Mixed breed, 30lbs, female Cherry came to us a few months ago after she was abandoned in a parking lot with cardboard box full of newborn pups. Luckily a Good Samaritan picked her up and got her to safety. She had 8 beautiful pups and she was such a good mommy. Now it’s her turn to find a forever home! She is on the submissive side and good with other dogs. She is house trained, although we do think she has never lived indoors with a family. We are working on her confidence and she will need a patient home. Cherry is very sweet and loves her belly rubbed. We believe she may be a Mountain Cur mix. Welcome the Shakespeare pups 💕 Lab mix, born 12/3/22 These pups were born to a stray momma. Mom appeared to be a Lab mix. The pups also look like there could be some hound in rhere. Who knows!! They are definitely adorable, and very loving. We are guessing 60-70 lbs as adults. The pups are current on vaccines, microchipped, and spay/neutered. Meet Max 💕 3 years old, shepherd mix (best guess), male, 57 lbs Max came to us from a Ky rural shelter that was at capacity. He is incredibly sweet, and playful. Max loves other dogs, but will do best as an only pet. He doesn’t like sharing attention. He loves toys, and food puzzles. Max catches on to commands fairly quickly but will need consistency. He Appears to be house broken. Max needs crated at night, and when away. He gets bored, and will chew things he is not supposed to. Max doesn’t love the crate but will go in when you toss in a treat. He might bark for a few minutes or if he sees you, and eventually settles down. Max does well with kids loves all people but does jump when he gets excited. Check out this cool little dude ! Update on Woody (Nelson) Woody is doing great in his foster home! He was adopted as a young pup, and returned to us a couple of months ago for training issues. Woody has worked really hard in his foster home, and come a long way. Woody is mostly cattle dog, and true to the breed, he has a lot of energy, and weighs 20lbs. He would love an active home to call his own. Woody does well running around in the yard for daily exercise. He loves to chase squirrels, and birds. Woody is very smart, and would be a great candidate for agility training. He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. Woody currently sleeps in the crate at night without any issues. He still has puppy tendencies, so he is confined to a specific room when foster mom isn’t home. Woody plays well with his foster siblings in the yard, but will guard his favorite toy when inside the house. He would do great as an only dog, or with a dog friend that respects his toys. Woody enjoys playing ball or with stuffed squeaky toys. His purpose in life is to extract the squeaky from the toy. Woody is still learning to play appropriately with people, and can get a little mouthy when playing as puppies do. He loves attention, and follows his foster mom around the house. Woody’s birthday is May 19th, and he would love to spend his first birthday in his forever home 🎂. Woody is current on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.
