Hes a sweet boy just hard headed he loves to run away and it gets us in trouble with the neighbors and I can’t afford training for him and he really need it since he’s a pitbull and people are already scared of those type of breeds. I just want him with a loving family that can give him playtime and training classes. I would also like to come and see him when I can. He loves to chew up things.

Rickon is a great dog but would be best with someone who is possibly work from home, stay at home or retired. My husband and I got him when I was in college and have always been around with him mostly during the day. Since then I've had 2 children and recently I've had to start working outside the home. He was home alone long hours during the day and started misbehaving so we started to kennel him during the day. This just isn't a great life anymore for Rickon and we are hoping we can find someone who has more time to spend with him. Rickon has been through a training program although we didn't hold up the training on our end. He is smart though and has retained small commands like Kennel up! or Sit. He is the most lovable dog always wanting to snuggle and be as close to you as possible. He likes to play tug of war with humans or other dogs. He likes to swim and be active and will even run alongside a jogger.

Hickory and his siblings were dumped in a neighborhood as puppies. They have become handsome, smart, affectionate pups. They are hound mixes(DNA test pending). Hickory is the most outgoing of the 3. He will require a 6ft fence as he can jump a 4 ft chainlink fence. He is crate trained and house broken on a schedule. He does play with other dogs, but will need proper introduction to new dogs. He has not been cat tested. His adoption fee is $200. Approved application, meet and greet and home visit required prior to placement.
