Story
Velma (Vellie) is fun loving 7 year old pit mix that would make a great addition to any house! She loves to be around other dogs and does great with children as well. Velma can be hesitant around men at first but warms up quickly if they are nice to her. Velma is exactly what you would expect from a 7 year old dog in terms of energy. She gets bursts of energy, loves her daily walks, and will play fetch with her chuck it as long as you let her. Once she releases some of that energy you can bring her inside and she will gladly chew on bones, antlers, and other tough toys.

Story
Leona is a sweet, affectionate, and fun loving approximately 2-year-old pup. Her energy level is medium as she enjoys playtime with both people and other dogs but also enjoys a good nap after doing so. She is happy to entertain herself with toys if needed. She is very respectful of children and older people although sometime gets very excited and jumps so very small children may not be the best idea initially. Her ideal home would include another dog that has a similar energy level and someone to continue basic obedience training. She is potty trained and does great in the crate. She is the most gentle treat taker also! Things she is still practicing: Not pulling on leash Four on the floor Things she excels at: Playing with other dogs and taking cues Snuggling when tired Sitting on command Things she enjoys: Chewing on hard toys Tearing up stuffies ☺ Leona dreams of lots of love with her forever family and she has promised to give back that love 10 fold. She’s a true saved soul who wants to prove to the world she is capable of anything. Dog seller license # 403072

Story
Do you have an intense passion about the things you love? Me, too! My name is Percy, I'm estimated to be a 4 year old bulldog mix, and I weigh in at about 50lbs. I get along with other dogs with an appropriate introduction. I am a pretty intense fellow, so my doggy siblings would need to tolerate me. I haven't met a cat yet, but I have a minimal prey drive, so it's assumed I'll do just fine with a proper introduction. Because of my strength and zest for life, kids 12+ for me, please! I'm a very happy guy. I love kisses on my big noggin and getting snuggles. Chewing on bones, tearing apart stuffies, and chasing my ball are a few of my favorite things. I've lived on the streets most of my life, so my new family will need to be patient with me, and give me the time I need to feel safe and secure in my new home. My new family will also need to continue working with me on regulating my emotions. I spent so long fighting to survive, it's hard for me to understand that you got me, and all I need to do is be the happy, goofy dude I was meant to be. Bully breed experience is required for my adopter, and I will most likely need more than one meet and greet to ensure my family is the perfect fit.

Story
Are you looking for a big, handsome and sweet-as-can-be boy? Well then you found me. My name is Merlin. I am a 2 years old Shepherd mix, around 80 lbs. I am a big boy who is looking for that perfect home. I enjoy walks and playing, I get along great with other dogs and all the peoples - although I am quite big and heavy so perhaps a home with older children might be best cos I don't want to knock or squish a little one! I also am partial to a treat or two and I try to keep my slobber to a minimum! Find out about me asap, big boys like me don't last long! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Mr. Banks was found in an elementary school field being chased by kids - now don't feel bad for him, he LOVED it. He is a HUGE fan of kids and was so happy to be running around with them - a home with kids would be great for him. Mr. Banks is a 2 year old Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix, around 50lbs. He is a very sweet boy who is house trained and crate trained. He gets along great with other dogs and loves being active with his family. He does need a secure yard or watched outside as he loves to jump and play and if he has no one with him.... well he may try to find someone to play with. He is very smart and walks lovely on leash too. Don't let this one slip away! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption.
