Story
Misaka was dumped with a mate in Texas and expected to just fend for themselves. In a place with high heat waves, hurricanes, flooding a host of other dangers her time on earth was going to be limited. Luckily finders reached out and both Misaka and her mate were saved.  Once in Wisconsin it was discovered that Misaka was heartworm positive and she has a deformity in her rib cage which leaves her heart unprotected. Perhaps this is one of the reasons she was kicked out of her home. This deformity does not in any way hinder her abilities however she must be careful not to have any kind of hits to the area when playing.  Misaka is a sweet and loving girl. She does extremely well with kids of all ages and other dogs. She looks forward to car rides and walks. Cat's appear to be more of a love/hate relationship so she will need a home with no cats.  Misaka has finished her heartworm treatment, is spayed and up to date on all her shots. The only thing she needs now is you! Please consider opening your hearts and home to this beautiful girl. ##1867799##

Story
Bear is about 7 years old and is a wonderful dog and very loving! He is a farm dog so he is always outside and is not house-trained. He loves people but can get over-excited and start jumping. He usually does well with kids and has been around many but when too annoyed or excited he has tried to nip at them. He is great about not running off and loves to run off his energy on the land. My parents got him mainly for me when I was in high school but now that I have moved out and they have grandkids around a lot they don't like to have him run freely and he is in his kennel more than we'd like him to be. We think it'd be best for Bear if we find him a new home where he can run, I am currently in an apartment and don't see myself being able to take him anytime in the near future. So if you have a place with a lot of land and running area where a dog can happily live the rest of his life please consider adding Bear to your family!

Story
Benny is a local shelter transfer who needed a new area to find his forever home! Benny is a great guy who loves to play and go for walks. He loves toys and to hop around while he plays. He does well with older children (12+) who enjoy being able to play with him. He is house trained and enjoys going for outings in the car. Benny is a ham and loves to "sit pretty"! Benny does need a home without cats, as he fixates on them.“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Wild Willy is a super sweet young Boxer mix who is looking for a stable environment to learn how to be a good boy! Willy came to us multiple times as a stray, this last time not being reclaimed by his owner in a neighboring county, Willy has come to us to find his forever home! Willy is very high-energy and would do well with an active family to keep him physically and mentally happy. He loves toys and going for walks. He rides well in the car and is ready for any adventure! “I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Blitz is a 6-year-old Husky mix, who was adopted in December from Rock County Humane Society. Blitz didn't do well in his previous home due to anxiety with other dogs in the home, and a poor dynamic with the family. Blitz is kennel trained but needs some positive training with housebreaking. He seems to enjoy children who come here to the shelter. Due to Blitz not having great adoption experience prior to coming here we would recommend a quieter household, with older children, and a family to give him lots of love and patience. Blitz has been with us for 16 weeks now and is a loveable boy with all the staff! He loves his outside time and being brushed. He will hop into his kiddie pool on the few hot days we have had so far to play in the water!“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
