Story
I`m in a FOSTER HOME! To meet me with me, please email my foster at kriskill.hasse@gmail.com.This sweet old lady loves naps on soft beds in between short bouts of play with her foster siblings.  She is in a home with medium and large dogs ranging from 1-14 years old, young and old cats, and an 11-year-old child.  She`s sweet, appears to be potty trained and loves some good scratches.  She has shown no interest in eating anything other than dog food and appears to be anxious about being confined, even in a bedroom.  She has done well out in the house on her large bed during the day.  Imogen would love to find some adopters that have the time and resources to get her all the care she needs. She has some stiff joints (who doesn’t these days!) and would appreciate a home with few or no stairs please. If you love the oldies, this girl is for you.  While she may have some arthritis, she`s got lots of love to give in a quiet and gentle manner.

Story
I welcomed Hiro into my life from a family who, sadly, had to move overseas and couldn’t take him along. Hiro is a spirited 6-year-old German Shepherd with boundless energy, a wonderful personality, and a truly kind heart. He thrives in an environment where he has plenty of space to explore and play. Ideally, Hiro’s new home would include a large, enclosed yard where he can run to his heart’s content. He’ll do best with an active and energetic companion who can match his zest for life and provide him with the love and attention he deserves.

Story
Sugar and Spice and Everything nice..That is our Sugar Plum. This sweet girl has fosters laughing everyday. She is smart, playful and gentle. Even learningspoken and hand signal commands. BUT she does come with a warning according to her foster mom...You will accomplish nothing during your workday becaue she is really good at convincing you to snuggle on the couch!... She is not a fan of her crate and does well outside with many outdoor trips, her housetraining is going great and so is her walking on a leash. Sugar loves to run in the back yard and do her zoomies and wants everyone to chase her. Her joy is contagious! She is a German Shepherd mix for sure with her smarts and floppy ears. Probably some lab in her too!. She is 24 pounds at 4 months now. With much love to give, this girl will make a wonderful addition to any family The adoption fee for this dog is $450 ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this dog please visit our website, www.frecklesfoundation.org. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.

Story
Our home has changed significantly since welcoming our baby boy, and unfortunately, Cece is not suited to live in a home with young children. Just the same, Cece is incredibly loyal and playful, thriving off affection from her people. She has had extensive training—she knows commands like come, sit, down, place, heel, and more. She’s nervous around unknown guests, especially children, and can feel overwhelmed in high-stimulation environments like loud city sounds or busy streets. Despite this, Cece absolutely lights up at the dog park. She would be perfectly happy living with another dog who matches her energy and playfulness, or she’d be great as a one-on-one companion or as an addition to an adults-only household. Cece would do best with outdoor space. Cece is so loving and affectionate—she wakes us up every morning with cuddles and kisses, and we will miss her dearly. Our greatest wish is to find her a loving, stable home where she can feel safe, happy, and live her best life.

Story
Hi, it’s nice to meet you. I’m Charlie. I don’t remember much of my previous life other than I had a litter of puppies--and I'm only 1 1/2 years old! The nice people at the shelter found me and then slowly nursed me back to a healthy weight since I was just skin and bones. Now I'm 60 lbs. However, my past doesn’t define me. In fact, the nice people at the shelter have described me as “small and docile.” This is what my foster mom has to say about me: Charlie is a super sweet, gentle, girl who most prefers spending time with her people! She is great on walks and stays right by your side and doesn't pull. She only barks periodically and only if another dog is barking. Charlie is very gentle with our 1-year-old daughter and would be great for a family with kids or another dog because she enjoys playing. She is a snuggler and gives kisses, knows how to sit, is treat-motivated, takes treats gently, and is housetrained. Charlie has separation anxiety and we are currently working on the best methods to make her feel safe and comfortable when we leave the house. She would do best with someone who has previous dog experience, is home the majority of the time, and has the flexibility and patience to work with her so that she can be most comfortable in her new forever home! Charlie has spent time at doggy day care and does really well there. She loves hanging out and playing with her doggy friends. Charlie will make a fabulous furry family member. She is perfect in every way and once she meets her forever person/people, as long as they give her unconditional love and support, she will bloom into an even more perfect version of herself!  ##2033441##

Story
*Needs new home immediately* Dingo is high energy, very intelligent, and a loyal companion. He does not seem to understand social cues from other dogs. This is the primary reason we are rehoming. He has taken obedience classes and understands sit, down (lay down), stay (lay down position), and focus. He is currently prescribed a flea and tick monthly chewable.
