Lupin~born~January 2014Lupin is a young senior male husky looking for his furever home! Lupin absolutely loves playing outdoors, swimming, and camping. He is a very laid back and friendly husky.Lupin cannot be around cats or other small animals such as birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc.He also does not do well with babies or toddlers, they seem to scare him; however children over 5 years old who are used to having dogs and can be respectful to him will do just fine. He is fully vaccinated and fixed, and is looking for a home where he is the only dog. He does well with other dogs, mainly huskies, but only for a short time until he gets into "alpha-mode". Perhaps with the right training he may do well living with another dog, but it will require some time and training on his new owners' part.Lupin is great with adults, and is fine around older children, and he would do fantastic in a home where he is the only animal.Lupin needs a fenced in yard, and just needs to find a loving home for his golden years. Meet Nash! He was saved from a high-kill shelter in California and has been being fostered here in Michigan. He is 16 months old and a petite husky mix at only 42 lbs! He is neutered and UTD on vaccinations. We’ve been working on his potty training/crate training and he’s finally ready to go to his furever home! He is incredibly affectionate and sweet with humans as well as being good with other dogs. Cats are unknown but I can test him with them if necessary! Please message me if you’re interested in giving this handsome guy his second chance!

Story
Chloe is a husky mix that we have had since she was a puppy. She’s an outgoing and energetic dog, who is great with our teenager, toddler, and baby. Unfortunately with our third addition she’s not getting the attention she needs and is acting up because of it. I am no longer able to take her for regular walks, and over the summer she has gotten off leash or out the front door 3 times. We live off a main road and this is a dangerous situation for her. She also does not get along with our neighbors dog, which has caused some issues. She has gotten along with other dogs in the past, so a gentle introduction would be needed if she is not the only dog. Crate, food, toys, leash, and all other supplies included with adoption if desired.

Well look at that smile, too cute! Mia is estimated to be about 7 months old and weighs 45 pounds. Mia has such an outgoing and playful personality, with a little bit of goofiness rolled in as well, so funny! She loves to lean in for love and snuggles after play time is over. Tennis balls make her very happy and she is hoping her new family would like to play ball with her. Mia does need some help with jumping up for attention, she will need an experienced adopter who knows how to establish themselves as a leader, set limits and work on basic obedience. She is a very smart girl and is looking for direction, she will just blossom with the right guidance. An active, fun family would be her dream and where any children are at least 8 years old. Mia has a lot of love to give and is looking for a forever home where she can grow up and make new memories. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Mia would love to meet them. She has an “all in” approach with other dogs and a bit pushy. She will need to learn some limits. Pizzaz is absolutely beautiful with his light brindle coloring! He is estimated to be about 11 months old and weighs 40 pounds. Pizzaz is a very attentive pup who loves to just lean into you for love. He is crazy smart and absolutely loves food puzzles and doing anything that requires mind work. With only working with him a short time, he learned sit, touch, down and shake. You can tell he is a thinker, wanting to learn and please you. Pizzaz craves closeness too, he likes to sneak up in your lap any chance he gets, and he takes his treats very gently. We have also noticed he likes to lay in the sun coming through the window, oh how relaxing! Pizzaz does have some observed food bowl guarding though, but he is catching on quickly to “wait at bowl”. His adopter will need to continue to work on this with him. He needs an experienced adopter who knows how to instill leadership and understands the mental needs of the working breeds. Pizzaz would fit perfectly in a home that has lots of love to give and where any children are at least 13 years old. If you think you could give Pizzaz the home he deserves, he would love to meet you and have a forever family. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Pizzaz would love to meet them. He has a tall, confident approach with other dog with nice play bows. He really needs to go to a home where there is another dog, he just seems more content with a playmate.
