Webster is a mellow, medium-sized dog with a heart as big as his love for naps. Originally found as a stray, he is currently 45 pounds and estimated to be around 8 years of age. Webster is the kind of dog who is happiest lounging on the couch, soaking up belly rubs, and enjoying the simple things in life. His calm nature makes him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a chill, gentle friend. Webster is not one for excessive exercise or wild adventures, but he’s always up for a stroll around the neighborhood or at the park. In December 2024, Webster had surgery to remove a small tumor on his side. Biopsy results indicated the tumor was cancer but low grade with just a 5-10% chance of return. Webster’s recovery was a breeze, and he hasn’t skipped a beat since surgery. Webster is housebroken and demonstrates no need to be crated when home alone (he has never been destructive). He is great with kids, adults, and other dogs, making him the perfect fit for nearly any home! As of January, Webster is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is handling treatment well.
