Story
Fudge will be at our adoption event on Sunday 3/2 At the Newton Petsmart from 11-1! Our sweet Fudgey boy is ready to find his perfect forever family! For those of you who have been following along our journey, you know that Fudge is a parvo warrior. He has been negative for parvo for weeks now and is thriving in his foster home. He is ready to find his perfect forever home to live out his long healthy life! Fudge also went viral on TikTok after his foster mom posted a video of him getting whacked by his foster sister’s tail - it was so funny that 1.5 million people watched!! Fudge is about 3 months old and is an Aussie/pittie mix. He has the cutest chocolatey brown fur and one tall white sock. He is currently about 12 lbs and putting on weight. We expect that he will be medium sized when he is finished growing. Fudge loves to snuggle and will gladly curl up next to you or one of his big foster dog siblings on the couch. Despite his size, he has no fear of the big dogs and will happily play with them. He also loves to try and play with the cats in his foster home. He is a silly, spunky, playful boy that loves toys and attention. He sleeps through the night in his crate and we are working on housebreaking. Fudge will need a patient forever home dedicated to all of his puppy training including housebreaking, socialization, obedience, etc. Since we know he is an Aussie mix, we expect that he will grow to be a highly intelligent and energetic adult dog that will need a lot of stimulation and activity. A family that can understand his future needs as an active breed is ideal! Fudge deserves to have the absolute best life a dog could have with a forever home full of love, attention, and toys. Are you the perfect match for Fudge? http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html @cnwhnj @coldnosewarmheartnj

Story
Jersey is an absolute sweetheart! From the moment you meet her, she captures your heart with her lovable nature. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys running and playing with them outside. Whether she’s chasing after a toy, catching a frisbee, or zooming around the yard, Jersey is full of energy and fun. But she also loves to relax, often curling up for a nap with her family. She’s a cuddle bug who adores belly rubs and gives plenty of puppy kisses. Her favorite toys include chew toys, bones, soft squeaky toys (especially her stuffed rabbit), and she loves playing chase and fetch. Jersey is great in the car—she rides quietly, doesn’t get car sick, and enjoys the journey. One of the cutest things she does is play catch by herself—tossing up little toys, sticks, or even clumps of grass and catching them while hopping around. It’s absolutely adorable! She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, she’s incredibly affectionate. If you sit down at her level, she’ll happily crawl into your lap, roll over for belly rubs, and shower you with love. Jersey is making great progress with house training—she’s had two accident-free days and has started going to the door when she needs to go out. She’s also a fast learner, already mastering “sit,” “leave it,” and “go potty.” Jersey needs a forever home with patient, loving owners who will help her feel comfortable in her new surroundings. She may not be the type to run up to strangers right away, but with time, she’ll show her sweet and playful personality. Jersey along with her mom and siblings were abadnoned in NC during the cold snap with no where to go. A good samaritan brought them to a shelter in NC to get the safe. Her mom was about 29 pounds. When FHDR heard about Jersey, we transported her to NJ to live in a foster home. She is about 12-14 week old. If you have a furever home for this pet, please e-mail Furever Home Dog Rescue at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com and request an adoption application. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ. Please read our homepage to read how the adoption process works. Story
This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety. This little girl is ready for her happily ever after. Please visit funnyfarmpets.org to read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption process works. Her adoption fee is $325 and if transport is necessary that is an additional $200 We are hoping to find her someone local to TN. She is a special girl who will need a special mom or dad to navigate through her fears. I may end up writing a book about her as she has given me lots of great stories.

Story
Meet Tucker!! This adorable little guy was found as a stray back in Jan in a rural part of Tx. We had him placed with a foster until we could complete his vetting & to social him with other people and animals. Mr Tucker made his way to NJ Mar 8th and it was a few days later that we noticed he was limping. We had him seen by our vet when it was discovered that he had a broken leg. He was than taken to an orthopedic on 03/19 and his surgery was scheduled for the following week. Tucker has completely healed and has been cleared by the orthopedic for adoption! Tucker is now 1 yr old, he is fully vetted (vacs/neutered/chip). Tucker is great with other dogs, totally fine with cats, and good with kids visiting but will need a quieter home with older kids (teenagers). If you would like to make this sweet boy a part of your family, please complete the online application to begin the process. https://furrytailendingscaninerescue.org/adoption-application/ **A PHYSICAL FENCED IN YARD IS REQUIRED** ** BREED MIX DNA CONFIRMED** **PLEASE NOTE EMAILS FROM THE SITE EXPRESSING YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING WILL NOT BE ANSWERED.
