Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Misty Dawn is a gentle soul with a heart as golden as her fur. Initially shy, she warms up quickly with a little bit of patience and love. Misty is a loyal companion who enjoys leaning in for scratches and running zoomies around the yard. She does enjoy playgroups with gentle, quieter dogs, but is terrified of cats and would prefer a home without them. Misty Dawn has a curious nature and enjoys exploring the great outdoors. While she may be reserved to new environments, her sweet demeanor is sure to shine through once she feels safe and secure. With gentle, respectful dogs she does well but she can be selective about who she interacts with. Puppies are of great joy to her, so perhaps a smaller canine companion? Sweet, gentle Misty has been enjoying time in a foster home, and all the perks that come with it -- comfy beds, lots of trips to exciting new places, and an understanding of the comforts of home. She'd love to be shown even more in a home of her own! Misty Dawn has been fortunate enough to have a DNA panel ran, and her results are via the link below: https://www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/bgk06s9 *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
Patch was found as a stray and one of our awesome vet partners treated him and asked us to take him in as he is a great boy! We asked two trainers to independently assess him and he passed with FLYING COLORS.  He is gentle, easy to handle, friendly to everyone and loves other dogs.  Loves them.  All of them.   He is a typical Texas lab or maybe he is a Texas dalmation?  Whatever he is, he is HANDSOME and stands out in any crowd.  August 20, 2024, 1:33 am

Story
Shiloh is a resilient boy with beautiful eyes and the perfect size, making him an ideal companion. Despite his challenging past—being abandoned and left to survive near a dumpster in an apartment complex—Shiloh has maintained his spirited nature and love for life. Shiloh can be shy around new people, and loud noises can frighten him. However, with patience and love, he will undoubtedly become a loyal and affectionate companion. He loves walks, jogging, and chasing balls. He is comfortable and happy with a relaxed dog companion. His breed is known for its energetic disposition, making him a fantastic choice for an active and loving family. His trainer is generously offering 2-3 additional training sessions for Shiloh and his new family.
