Story
Brisko is 2 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. She is a very energetic and intelligent dog. House and crate trained. She goes in and out of her crate throughout the day and sleeps in it overnight without issues. When inside the house, she rings the bell at our backdoor to let us know when she wants to go outside. She enjoys walks/hikes, car rides and especially loves the park. When walked on a leash, there is typically no issue with pulling. I often ride my bike while holding her and her sister on a leash! She listens to commands extremely well. When outside, she will not come inside the house without permission to enter. She is really good at being still and obedient during grooming time as I have had no issues doing these things myself - including trimming and grinding her nails. She is part of a bonded pair, so it would be great if both were considered together, but that's not mandatory.

Story
***This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas*** The biggest cuddle bug award goes to our very own Lady! Lady was originally found living in an abandoned building with another dog and her two puppies. When she first came to our facility Lady was shy and scared. Within a few days, though, she opened up and became excited to see us walk by her kennel. Once Lady is comfortable with you she will be the biggest cuddle bug! She might lean against your leg, she might sit on your lap, or she might even sit on your shoulders. Lady has a fun side to her too and loves to run around with the "zoomies". She will need love and patience but once she trusts you Lady will be the best companion ever. Are willing to help her find a forever home? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
***This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas*** If you want someone excited to see you everyday then this pup is the one for you. Pony had been living on the streets alongside two of our other residents, Bahia and Blackie, for months. We received all three dogs from a local shelter and immediately went into action for medical care and socialization. Pony in particular arrived to us with deep wounds from living on the streets, but luckily he did not let his past affect him. At first he was timid, but within a few days Pony began to open up to us. He will wiggle in happiness when you walk up to his kennel, he will happily lay down next to you, and he will gently nudge your hand for pets. Pony might require some patience to warm up to you but once he does he is the most loving dog that you could ever have. Are you ready to adopt this cheerful pup? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Gentle and reserved, and arriving with a mangled leg, Evangeline has decidedly had a rougher start than most and will take a special family to help her blossom into the wonderful dog we see hiding behind those soulful eyes and satellite dish ears. With her presumed parents Scamp and Lady, she lived a hard life on the streets. Now safe and mending from a leg removal, this sweet-natured girl needs a quiet home to allow her to fully express herself. Shy dogs take a bit more work, but are well worth the extra effort! Maybe she's the one for you? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
****This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**** Filled with sweetness but terribly unsure of herself, it is evident young Solstice received a fairly cruddy hand for the first start of her life. Arriving into our program with 8 babies in tow(one of which has pronounced medical issues), hers has not been an easy road to walk. Heartworm positive and on the road to recovery, and with her puppies off seeking families of their own, Solstice's time has also come! Quiet but filled with love, she is quite shy with new people with shows strong eagerness to be friends with every human she meets, and most dogs too! Cats make her terribly nervous, so we would prefer a home for her without feline companionship. A gentle hand, and some solid patience, will allow Solstice to bloom into the amazing dog she truly is. A quieter home with a steady schedule would be best for her, but she's not above a bit of boisterous play once she is comfortable, and loves(albeit nervously) car rides! While we know shy dogs aren't for everyone, we are confident the perfect family for this sweet young lady is out there, and can't wait to meet them! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
Patch was found as a stray and one of our awesome vet partners treated him and asked us to take him in as he is a great boy! We asked two trainers to independently assess him and he passed with FLYING COLORS.  He is gentle, easy to handle, friendly to everyone.  All of them.   He is a typical Texas lab or maybe he is a Texas dalmatian?  Whatever he is, he is HANDSOME and stands out in any crowd.  November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm
