Story
Hey there! My name is Sadie, and I am an adorable female puppy with a lot of energy and love to give. I'm athletic and curious, and I love to play, explore, and make new friends. I'm also vocal and independent, so I'm happy to entertain myself with my favorite toy but also enjoy a snuggle on the couch. I'm very friendly and love meeting new humans, but I'm not sure about other dogs just yet, so I'm looking for a home where I can be the center of attention. I'm a baby, so I am looking for a family that can teach me how to be the best dog I can be. If you're looking for a playful, loving, and adorable companion, apply to adopt me today! CAN WE MEET TODAY PLEASE CONTACT CELESTINE 832-659-2576.

She is great with other dogs . Payton is also very smart and is learning new things. So far she knows sit and down.. She will make a great addition to your family.    =============== Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application . ADOPTION FEE:  The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, Microchip including a lifetime registration and spay/neuter.   PUPPIES   Texas State law requires that we sterilize any animal adopted through this agency.     This will normally occur between 5 and 6 months at one of our approved veterinarians at the expense of the rescue. Children under 8 years old  often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs.   In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children. Approval:  You will be notified via email once your application is approved.  Once notified, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our approved locations.   Thank you for considering a rescue! The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it. NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others. AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you. I need to run.Bethoven says: I would make you the happiest family EVER!  I'm super cute, and super happy and super cuddly! I have lots of energy for walks or runs or playing with the hose in the backyard (its like my most favoritest thing).    I would make the most bestest dog brother EVER!  I love to instigate play and would be your bestiest friend! (like 4-ever). You'll never find a better dog brother than I would be! I'm kind of a big boy, and apparently I'm a bit 'oral' Whatever that means *sheesh*. I DON'T bite, NO WAY!  But I've got a lot of puppy still, or so they say... so I like to put my mouth on things, especially when I'm playing.   I really want to find my forever home, my first family really loved me, but had to give me up because my first momma needed to get out of bad situation and the shelter didn't allow me to come.   I'm just know I'll be the bestest dog you've ever had!   aarfhouston.org/forms for an application    Please contact app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Female puppy Hi! ...and thank you from the bottom of my heart for visiting my profile!  My name is Maple, and as you can see from my profile pictures, I LOVE TO SMILE.  I have one ear up - and one ear down.  My foster Mom says that makes me special. My siblings and I were born into the Rescue after my pregnant Mom was discarded and abandoned at a soccer park.  Luckily, a very nice family took my Mom home and fostered her through AARF.  My foster family took very good care of her until I was born.  Did you see all of my adorable baby pictures?  Yup, I'm a cutie!  I'm not very big - but my heart is gigantic .  I am a very loving girl with a delightful personality - I make my family laugh out loud daily with my silly expressions and clutsy moves.  My foster mom says that I'm bright and I learn quickly - especially when she has treats for me!  I'm learning basic commands - how to "sit", "shake", I walk well on a leash, and I have conquered potty training.  Most days, you will find me following my foster mom around, playing in the yard with my foster family, going for walks, or napping on my bed.  I love to go for rides in the truck and I sit like a lady in the front seat.  I'm currently looking for a family who will give me lots of love and is ready for me to give all my love to them.  Is that you?  I sure hope so!  Thanks again for stopping by!  Love and kisses, Maple.             Weight - oz Name Birth Order Sex Time 29-Mar 4-Apr 10-Apr 13-Apr 17-Apr 24-Apr 5-May Mapple 4 Female 8:49am 10.95 21.85 36.70 43.75 49.80 70.65 99.85 =============== Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Arlo. I’m intelligent, funny, charming, lovable, extremely energetic, and so handsome. I need lots of attention and a job to do. I hate being left alone for long periods. And I must have lots of cuddle time. I enjoy doing fun activities and learning. True to my breed, I also like to herd my sisters. I’m the perfect cuddle buddy, and I like to watch TV with my human. I really like shows with animals, especially other dogs. I can jump almost 6 feet into the air, so I need a minimum 6 ft fence when I play outdoors. I like most adults. But small kids make me very uncomfortable. I move hard and fast, and don’t realize my own strength. I like other dogs, but I can be protective of my food and toys. I prefer to be around female dogs. And I don’t like dominant, pushy dogs. I would be an awesome therapy dog, or something cool like that. I can run fast and jump high, so I would also be awesome at agility. I need a parent who can  recognize and appreciate my amazing abilities, and will continue to bring out the best in me.
