She takes a while to trust, but is loyal to her people once she does. Keira is fearful of people and does not easily trust. She can be skittish and is a flight risk if not contained properly. She will build trust with her people after a period of time spent together and trust building, but she is not a ‘people’ dog with new people. She is definitely a dog's dog. She prefers to be with her dog friends and spends her days out in a play yard with 5-7 other dogs. Keira will need a home that understands and is ok with the fact she is not a super lovey dog that will want human attention all the time. Keira will do best in an adult only home that is patient in building her trust and ok with her being aloof and doing her own thing at times. She is well mannered and does great hanging out in a fenced yard with her dog friends. She is super active and loves to run around in her current large play yard with other dogs. Tommy is a cute and cuddly little boy with an eternally cute face. He was found on the streets with a tumor about 5.5" in diameter in his belly. He lasted a year in treatment with chemotherapy and medication and needed surgery to remove the remaining encapsulated mass. In addition to needing special food to break up a stone bladder, he has ultrasounds to make sure he don't get sediment in his bladder every three months. He is currently a healthy, happy, loving and tender dog. He is very loyal and protective, intelligent and playful. He don't get along well with alpha male dogs, but plays well with puppies and females. He is sociable with children and adults. Tommy is a Border collie mix, and is smaller than a Border collie. When you talk to him he makes a cute and cuddly face, ducks his head and rolls his eyes upwards, I think he knows he is cute and takes advantage of that. Tommy is a dog to spoil, to cuddle and to give him lots of love, since his first family didn't give him all he deserved. We are in the unfortunate situation that we need to rehome our beautiful dog. Please help us find a great home for him. Cody is 5 years old, Australian retriever/Lab mix, and 75 lbs. Ha very sweet, friendly dog and loves playing catch. He is currently taking meds to help him with his overzealous love of retrieving balls/toys. We were only supposed to foster him for a year, but our friend moved so could not take him back. We fell in love with Cody, but I am gone 14 hour days, and travel too frequently to give him the stability he deserves. Cody has some anxiety from being bounced around a lot before. Looking for someone who is retired or works from home (or part-time job), with no small children, a fenced yard, and the time to take Cody to dog training classes for his anxiety and resource guarding of his toys. I would like to do a gradual transition so Cody can get used to his new forever home. We prefer a family close to Lynnwood/Seattle to do the gradual transition. Thanks!
