Story
🐾 Hi there! I’m Joy! 🐾 I’m a lovely 3-year-old Border Collie mix with a beautiful black and white coat. I weigh 11 kg, making me the perfect size for all kinds of adventures! 🥰 My Story: I was rescued just in time from a kill center, and now I’m looking for my forever home where I can share all my love and joy. 💖 My Personality: I’m very affectionate and love to rub against people, whether I know them or not. I’m always ready for some pets! 🐶 You can lift me by putting your arm under my belly. I’m easy to handle! 🪶 Once I get to know you, I’ll happily show you my belly. It’s my way of saying I trust you! 🐾 I love meeting new dogs and always ask them to play. I’m a friendly girl! 🐕 I might need a bit of caution when meeting new dogs for the first time, especially if toys or snacks are involved. 🧸 When I see a cat during a walk, I stay focused on my human. Cats don’t distract me! 🐱 I enjoy outdoor activities and have a normal energy level. After a fun time outside, I like to rest quietly. 🌳 I tend to pull on the leash a bit, but I generally follow my human well. 🚶‍♂️ I don’t guard my food against people, but I might growl if another dog approaches me while I’m eating. 🍽️ I’m very calm in a kennel and know how to get in and out of a car by myself. 🚗 I generally only do my business outside. 🚽 Fun Facts: I’m people-friendly and get along with strangers easily. 🥰 I used to guard resources, but I’m much better now. My new family should be firm when giving me snacks or toys. 🍖 I might try to bite a stranger’s hand if I’m in a kennel, but that’s because I was traumatized while moving to a training center. 🏡 At the training center, I don’t show any behavior issues, but I might need some time to adjust in a new place. 🐾 I’m looking for a loving home where I can continue to grow and share my affection. If you think we could be a perfect match, please come meet me! 🏡💕

Story
🐾 Hi there! I’m Baney! 🐾 I’m a 6-month-old female Border Collie mix with a beautiful black and white coat. I weigh just 6 kg, so I’m the perfect size for cuddles! 🖤🤍 My Story: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time, and now I’m looking for my forever home. Could it be with you? 🏡💕 My Personality: • I’m super affectionate and love to rub against people, whether I know them or not. I’m always ready for pets and cuddles! 🤗 • I adore kids under 13 and take snacks from them very gently. 🍪👧👦 • You can easily lift me by putting your arm under my belly. I’m a lightweight! 🐶 • Once I get to know you, I’ll show you my belly for some good rubs. Actually, I might even do that when we first meet! 🐾 • I’m friendly with other dogs, both familiar and new, and I love to play! 🐕🎾 • Even if another dog tries to start a fight, I prefer to avoid confrontation. Peace and love, that’s my motto! ✌️❤️ • Cats? No problem! I focus on my human during walks. 🐱🚶‍♀️ • I have lots of energy and need plenty of outdoor activities to stay happy and calm. 🌳🏃‍♂️ • I might pull on the leash a bit, but I generally follow well. 🚶‍♂️🐾 • I’m not possessive about my food and don’t mind sharing with people or other dogs. 🍲 • I don’t have severe separation anxiety now, but I might develop it, so I need a loving and understanding home. 🏡💔 • I whine a bit when put in a kennel, but I’m working on it. 🐾 • I’m potty trained and use both indoor pads and the great outdoors for my bathroom needs. 🚽🌿 Fun Facts: • I’m really good with other dogs and love to play. 🐕🎉 • As a puppy, I love to chew and bite things, so I might nibble on furniture. But hey, I’m learning! 🛋️🦷 • I’m super smart and learn commands very quickly. 🧠🎓 If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and smart pup to join your family, I’m your girl! Let’s make some wonderful memories together! 🐾❤️ Love, Baney 🐶💕 For more videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jx8TwwtseM6cgQTQjHW7zaJ

Story
Meet Harley! Harley is one cute pup and he's hoping to find his new family - and soon! Harley is about 3-years-old and likely a Border Collie mix. And he sure acts it! Harley is spunky, smart, and likes to stay busy. He's hoping his new humans will be as active as he is and will help him get plenty of exercise and mental enrichment every day. Harley would like all the tennis balls, toys, and attention for himself, so he's looking to be the only dog in his new home. He enjoys chasing cats, so any resident cats should be dog savvy and introductions to should be done slowly. Harley can be nervous in new situations and with loud noises, so he will likely do best in a home with just dog-experienced teens and adults where he can settle in at his own pace. Harley will likely do best in a home with a fenced yard, in a quiet neighborhood, and is not a fit for an apartment or condo environment. If you're ready to liven up your life, make an adoption appointment to meet Harley today!#playful #activelifestyle

Story
Sweet Apple! She's ready to add some delicious fun to your life. This gorgeous 3-year-old Border Collie mix is full of pep, spunk, and personality. She makes fast friends with everyone she meets and will have you feeling love and joy in no time. Apple is looking for an active family who can give her lots of exercise, playtime, and adventures. She is an excellent hiking and running partner - this girl can GO! Apple also adores mental enrichment and thinks using her brain is super fun. Apple does well with other dogs, but we don't know if she's ever met cats. She does enjoy chasing small, fast moving things so caution should be used when introducing her to cats. Apple will likely do well with older kids who are comfortable around a large, wiggly, and active dog. If you're ready to welcome home this spunky girl, make an adoption appointment to meet her today! #playful #dogcompatible #activelifestyle

Story
Welcome Houdini to CCPAL foster program. Houdini is a young male that is 5 months old. He is 50% Border Collie and the other is Terrier. He has the coat and temperament of the Border Collie. He should be 45 pounds full grown. He currently is about 25 pounds. He lives with children and is around goats in his farm house foster home. He has long beautiful and shinny fur. He is attentive and knows sit, shake a paw and can walk on a leash. He is good in a car and friendly with his litter mates. He hasn’t been around any other dogs but his litter mates. They are all boys. Houdini is not the most dominant of the 3 pack. He has the striking looks of a Border Collie. We would love someone that knows and loves the breed to apply for Houdini. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 600. He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Bear to CCPAL foster program. Bear is a young male that is 5 months old. He is 50% Border Collie and the other is Terrier. These puppies all love the water and would love a home that allows them to play in the water. He is the biggest of the 3 boys and a stronger personality. He is the most dominant of the 3 boys. He is outgoing and social and is slightly less attentive than his two brothers. He should be 50 pounds full grown. He currently is about 27 pounds. He lives with children and is around goats in his farm house foster home. He has long beautiful and shinny fur. He is knows sit and can walk on a leash. He is good in a car and friendly with his litter mates. He hasn’t been around any other dogs but his litter mates. They are all boys. He has the striking looks of a Border Collie. We would love someone that knows and loves the breed to apply for Bear or any in this litter. We think Bear has less of the Border Collie personality and more of the dad’s personality who was a Terrier. Story
HI - I'M ZOE! I'm a beautiful and shy 2-year-old female Border Collie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I am a shy and timid girl, but once I warm up to you I will be your best friend. I would do best with an active person or people who can take me for walks, hikes, beach outings and other adventures. I weigh only 43 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
Animal Profile: Nellie is an estimated 14-18 month old, 55 lb spayed female mixed breed (possibly border collie and shepherd) who was found as a stray in TX and taken in by our rescue partners. She is very social, friendly, playful with dogs, and good in the crate -- but loves to be with her humans. We will share more about her as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Nellie is a loyal, loving and easy going young dog who has been a joy to foster. She has high energy when she knows it's time to play, but can also relax when it's not play time. She is wonderful in the crate and is also good on leash, rarely pulling. She is friendly and playful with other dogs once she warms up to them after slow introductions. She is good at communicating boundaries appropriately with other dogs when it comes to staying away from "her stuff." She absolutely loves being outside and will be a great hiking or running buddy! She's a hard chewer so will need durable toys. She has a cute little habit of stealing socks and hiding them in her crate; she doesn't destroy them, just likes to collect them. Her ideal family would be a couple or single person with or without another balanced dog, looking for an adventure buddy and willing to help her continue to build her confidence. Nellie has not been formally evaluated with cats or kids.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Nellie was transferred from Saving Shelter Strays in Texas arriving to Seattle area foster care on 3/8/24. She will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. August 19, 2024, 12:18 am

Story
I adopted Gray as a puppy in 2016 from NOAH shelter in western Washington. He's been with me ever since, but unfortunately our family has changed and my situation now is not good for him or for me to continue having dogs. He's a sweet and intelligent boy with a lot of energy and a love of playing. He especially loves apples, going for walks, and running free. He has a not-biologically-related brother named Bruno that he is bonded with and I wouldn't want to split them apart. I'm looking for a home for the two of them where they will get the love, attention, and activity they need and I can no longer provide.
