Story
Meet Michigan, an adult male kitty who came to us from a hoarding situation with over 46 cats in the home. Michigan is a resilient fellow, and despite all he has been through he LOVES human attention. This boy is the king of making biscuits and getting all of the snuggles. He uses the litterbox here, gets along sort of well with the other cats, but can be a pest sometimes and is a bit of an alpha and prefers female cats (he has not done well with males). Would be fine with dogs and all humans. His adoption fee is FREE!! and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations and felv/fiv testing. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov, or stop by during our open business hours to meet him!

Story
Meet Marie!!! Marie is a female kitten born approximately 8/21/24. Marie was brought in as a stray with her littermates who have all been adopted since. Marie is a sweet and playful girl but was the most shy of all of her littermates and it has taken her longer to trust humans. Shy still prefers the company of other cats, but has come around to people and the key to her heart is treats, toys, and even having a confident friendly cat to help her become more brave with people. Her adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and felv/fiv test and she is more than ready to go to her forever home. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov or stop by during our open business hours to meet her!

Story
Meet Peter Parker! Peter Parker is a kitty who is approaching 1 year old and was owner surrendered after his owner acquired him from someone on Facebook marketplace and he was not the age or sex they stated he was. Peter was very frazzled when he first arrived, but has since settled down and is the sweetest most playful guy! He loves the other cats but can sometimes be a rambunctious player. He gets along fine with dogs as well. Peter uses the litterbox here at the shelter and is just an all around good kitty. His adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations and felv/fiv test. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov or stop by the shelter during our open business hours to meet him.

Story
Gandalf is a younger adult male cat looking for his forever home. He came in as a stray so we do not have much history for him, but he is GREAT with other cats and would probably be fine with dogs if they leave him alone. He is not a cat that enjoys tons of human affection at this time, but is slowly warming up to the idea. He spends much of his day napping in the kitty condos in our cat room, but we see him out and about much more often and has even allowed a bit of petting recently. His adoption fee is $50 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations and negative felv/fiv. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov, OR stop by during our open business hours to adopt!

Story
Meet Amber, a sweet older gal who came to us as a stray and was not reclaimed. We think Amber is an older cat 5-7 year old we think. She is sweet but shy and enjoys relaxing in the kitty condos with the other cats. She uses the litterbox here at the shelter. Amber would love to go home with someone who doesn't mind a chill kitty friend who doesn't participate in kitten shenanigans. Her adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and negative felv/fiv test. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov, or stop by during open business hours to meet and possibly adopt Amber.
