We acquired her as a rescue. Daisy is approximately 4 years old and very friendly. Daisy likes to play with her dog toys. She doesnt bark alot. She can speak if asked. Daisy is currently in a fenced yard. She uses a pet door to go outside when needed. Daisy does have a few faults. She will get into kitchen, or bathroom trash. She likes to get into coffee and drink cups if left unattended. Daisy doesn't like to be locked up in a training crate as she will cry and whimper. Daisy was given a piece of people food and she growled and snapped at one of our chickens that got too close to her so people food is not recommended. She is being taught to go to her bed during dinner time. So begging is discouraged. She does like car rides/traveling.

Ranger just joined our program and while we are not sure what breed he actually is, we have been told Dachshund Lab mix...Corgi Lab mix or possibly Corgi German Shepherd mix. The truth is, we just don't know however we do lean towards a Dachshund mix of some sort. TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Thelma is the other half of the dynamic duo, Thelma & Louise! She is very much bonded to her sister Louise & relies on her for comfort & security . Where you find one, you will find the other! Thelma quickly bonds with her humans & insists on daily cuddles & pets. Like her sister Louise, Thelma is approximately 12 years old, around 19lbs & a sweet princess. She is working on getting her girlish figure back. She is a dachshund/terrier mix that gets along well with other dogs & is curious about cats. She walks on a leash with the occasional reminder to enjoy the scenery along the way & not rush to the finish line. If you are looking for a furry shadow, Thelma is your gal. They are a package deal, consider it a 2-for-1 special! Both have good energy and cannot stop wiggling their butts constantly! We are purebred dachshunds, with slightly different colored patches but all dachshund ALL the time! We are your standard dachshund size and have the temperament that would be great as a binge watching buddy, gaming friend or even a professional nappers (seriously we're that good.) Chico does have a seizure disorder that is controlled well with phenobarbital. His seizures were only about 1 a week but no one wants to let it happen so the meds were started and work GREAT! Local adoption fee is $300 for both of us (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area)

Here we are the CHIWEENIE brothers!! The FOUR brothers saved off the side of a country road when the rescue people were alerted to our condition by one of the local police officers. We are handily named AFTER the Four Brothers movie- Marky Mark, Tyrese , Garrett and Andre are all the most adorable low riders you have ever seen!! We have low long bodies and cute wild faces who beg for love and attention and real homes!! We were very shy at first but have broken OUT of our shells and are playful and happy and bouncing and crazy pups :) We are just babies now so will be likely under 20# full grown, we get along with all dogs and people and even though we had a horrible beginning to life, we are looking for the VERY BEST MIDDLE AND END!!
