Story
We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to call their own. Flynn is more reserved than Rider but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet and take in the world around him or he'll try to scamper up on your lap to show you rocks he's found. He loves being up high to get scratchies and watch his brother. Rider is the adventurer, he enjoys sniffing through the grass and pouncing grasshoppers. He likes to get the big dog toys to drag around the yard and have his brother chase him. Rider sits patiently waiting for his turn to get scratchies on your lap. He's so adorable! He's fearless until big trucks rumble by then you'll find him behind your chair! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! These pups have healthy appetites but will stop when full, graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs, longer body, pointy ears, narrow face, and a beautiful redish brindle coat. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes or be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute little legs and look like they waddle from behind! Both like to play, run, and carry things around. They are really good at hustling from their room to door to go outside with "lets go, let's go, hurry, hurry, all the way to the door." Then once out the door "all the way to the gate... no pee pee in the walk way." Then "hurry hurry all the way back to go potty." They bound around in a scurry watching me for praise at their good efforts! Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will walk on leashes together but criss cross a bit so will need individual leash training. They are a little timid with new things in general so slow introductions would be helpful as they learn. They are young and going through a chewing stage so age appropriate chew toys a plus. Have experience with dogs their size. Very timid with big dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

TEXAS ADPTION ONLY Glory, such a wonderful word. Giving honor, love and praise. My name is NOW Glory, and let me tell you... i had no name before I got to the rescue.... But NOW, I am GLORY and I am loved in the foster mom's home and pack. I have a really great friend too, his name is Leggo and he was from a rough family too. So we have kind of a kinship of despair, which has turned into LOVE and FOOD and WARMTH and HOPE! We didn't come into the rescue together but we are attached at the hip :) Please adopt us together!! We won't take up much space! I am 9# and my buddy is only 10#!! Local adoption together is $400 (in TX)

HE WAS FOUND WITH TWO PUPPIES UNDER A HIGHWAY BRIDGE. UNFORTUNATELY, ONE OF THEM TESTED POSITIVE FOR DISTEMPER AND, BECAUSE THE DISEASE WAS ALREADY VERY ADVANCED, HE DIED A FEW DAYS AFTER STARTING HIS TREATMENT. ELMER AND THE OTHER PUPPY, TITAN, WERE PLACED IN QUARANTINE AS A PREVENTIVE MEASURE. HOWEVER, ONE DAY AFTER THE END OF QUARANTINE, TITAN SHOWED DISTEMPOR SYMPTOMS AND, LIKE THE FIRST PUPPY, DIED DESPITE RECEIVING TREATMENT. THIS WAS HOW ELMER BECAME THE ONLY SURVIVOR OF THIS RESCUE. TODAY ELMER IS COMPLETELY HEALTHY AND WITHOUT ANY KIND OF SEQUEL AND IS LOOKING FOR A LOVING FAMILY THAT WILL CONSENT HIM. ELMER IS A FAITHFUL COMPANION WHO LOVES TO BE HUGGED AND Cuddled. HE WILL LOVE TO TAKE WALKS AND WALKS WITH YOU. IT IS PLAYFUL AND FRIENDLY, WHICH MAKES IT IDEAL TO BE WITH CHILDREN AND LITTLE ONES. HE LIKES TO EXPLORE, DISCOVER NEW THINGS, MEET PEOPLE AND ABOVE ALL PLAY. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Animal Profile: Lt. Dan! You got new legs...err..a new leash! Lt. Dan is an adorable short stack with little legs, large ears, and a big fat head. Lt. Dan is one easy going dude. He has been in a family home with dogs, cats and kids. Unfortunately his family had a change of living circumstance and were not able to take Dan with them. He has been neutered and is on his way to the PNW. We cannot wait to meet him.  Foster Update:  With short little legs, big paws, a chunky head, and a baguette body, Lt. Dan is the cutest and happiest guy! His tail is always wagging and he lights up when he sees people. He walks nicely on leash, but will pull if he sees a critter like a rabbit or squirrel. He sleeps through the night in his crate and is great about going potty outside. Lt. Dan is very food motivated which is helpful for training. He enjoys toys and playtime but also loves to snuggle up. He can positively vibrate with energy when looking for a task or toy, but with consistent exercise and boundaries, he will settle. Dan has been a quiet work from home companion. Adopter profile: Dan is a confident dog, and will need an experienced handler who will give him clear guidance. Dan follows the cues of the resident dogs in his foster home and would do best in a home with another dog. Due to his exuberance, Dan would not be a good fit for a home with children. No first time dog owners, please. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from Animal Advocacy & Rescue Center, our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving via Paws Up Rescue on 11/10/24 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.December 30, 2024, 12:51 am

PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK PAGE IF YOU NEED HELP. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ This companion animals name is Choco.(Estimated DOB 1.2017, estimated 13 lbs) Choco is a kind and playful dog, who adores his dog friends, along with hanging with his people. He is a good citizen with other canines once he knows them, and he requests a secure fenced yard and friends for him to romp and run with. Choco learns to trust his people, though he is not always so sure of new people. Choco is smart and loves cookies, chewy bones, and other toys and treats. He came to us as a nearly feral dog, and although he has come incredibly far with us, he is not perfect. He is not a snuggly type dog, but likes to share space with you. He thrives in a place that doesn't have huge expectations for him. He has yet to come to understand walking on lead, and it is unclear whether this will ever truly happen. He likes to come and sit with you and hang out where you are, and it is well worth getting to know him. We are hoping to find someone dedicated to bringing him to be the best boy he can be, with an understanding of severely shy dogs under pressure. This dog requires a fenced yard. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.FINN Finn is a sweet 12-pound neutered male dumped at a spay/neuter clinic and left behind. The neuter clinic is not a shelter. Rompin Paws Rescue is bringing Finn up on January 14th so we can find him a forever-lovin home where he will be adored. Our current photos are taken when American visitors go down to Loreto, and they know to visit the clinic and socialize the dogs; some even adopt and bring them home.                                              Finn is a fan favorite. He adores being held and loved and always smiles when folks come for a petting session. Finn looks like a Miniature Golden Retriever. We are guessing what breeds he may have in him, so we call him the "allovinbreed" dog because he can't get enough attention. Finn has done well with all the dogs he meets at the clinic and loves people. We have not tested him with cats. Whoever adopts this perfect lapdog is going to be so lucky! They will be getting a loyal friend for life. Finn is estimated to be @ 1 year of age. Finn is easygoing, chill, and a willing learner. Finn will need potty training as he has a free run of the play yard and sleeps in a crate at night when the clinic is closed. Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup.  The next step is a meet and greet if a match can be made. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones will drop the application. Beau has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for his and his new buddies.  To apply to adopt Finn, he has a $550.00  adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we can get to know you and make the best match.      https ://rompinpawsrescue.com  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 9, 2025, 2:41 am
