Story
Rosie is a very friendly dog who gets along with every dog and person she has met. She tends to be a little nervous at first but calms down quickly. She was found as a stray and we have tried to incorporate her into our family but our schedule is too busy to keep up with a large dog. She is housebroken, crate trained and knows sit, catch, focus and go to bed. She does not walk well on a leash but does better when using a harness. She has been spayed and is also up to date on all of her vaccinations. She’s great with kids. She’s about 65lbs now and the vet expects her to be 60-80 lbs when she starts putting on adult dog weight. She’s very sweet and loves to snuggle and play. She would do well in a house with another larger dog. She loves walks but will dig out of a fenced yard if given the opportunity.

Story
Local adoption within 20 miles of Duluth, GA only. Fenced yard is required. Chiquita 4 year old chocolate Min Pin (DOB 9/30/2020) 11 lbs. Fully vetted "Hello world! My given name is Chiquita, but my foster mom calls me Kanga and Bouncy Pouncy. I'm an energetic girl with places to go and things to see at all times. I'll gladly bounce along behind you on my back legs for a better view. If you sit, I'm going to be on your lap once I decide to trust you. Then I'll never let you far out of my sight. It takes me a few times of meeting people before I'm comfortable with them, so if you want me, please allow a few meetings so I can get used to you. Or just plan to hang out for a while! And bring treats! Lots of treats! At this time, no homes with children. I am too nervous. Patience and a low traffic home are musts as I get very nervous and stressed somewhere new which upsets my tummy for a while. I do better with women, and right now, a woman only home is preferred given my fears of men. I love to curl up on the big human bed, but I am also good in a crate if you send me to it with a treat. I do well going outside in my foster home. I also love other dogs that are my size, but cats and bigger dogs scare me. An active, confident dog friend would be nice and a fenced yard is required because I am an escape artist on a harness and leash, especially when nervous. If I sound like the kind of pup for you, please complete the adoption application." http://tinyurl.com/mpmrapp MPMR requires all applicants to have their dogs current on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention unless there is verifiable medical reason why this cannot be done.

Story
I got Rain when she was about 1 month old from the local animal shelter. At the time my schedule was free and everything was good till it wasn't. She had to go to my mom’s house while i lived with my grandma and everything just fell out of place. She is very loving and caring dog ever but neither me or my mom have the time to let her have the best life she deserves. She does not bite or harmful in any way she very relaxed for a lab. She is crate trained as well and doesn't have a problem with being in her cage but since she still is kind of a puppy still since she's only about 7 months old her bladder isn't the best so coming up with a good schedule will help you the most. She knows basic commands and is very easy to train since she is a lab mixed and very intelligent. I also have cage, collar brand new food and treats to give away for free aswell

Story
I got Bella from the Pet Alliance in Orlando, FL in 2017. She was born in 2016. I have all her previous adoption paperwork and full shot records to date. She has only ever needed 1 vet visit per year (each February). She is very healthy and allows owner to cut nails and bathe. Shes very affection motivated. I was told when I adopted her that she would be a one dog home situation, however a few years ago I had a partner that had a dog (you can see in the 3rd photo) and we forced them to meet. It turned out great. However, she doesnt do well at dog parks. She is a very protective dog, however if I had friends come over and we did a very gentle meet and greet, she could become comfortable and remember certain people for future visits. She needs easy adjustment. She loves being with her people, but if another stray dog comes around she will get upset. I would suggest a home with owners that are aware of dog temperament and have had previous dogs. She knows basic commands.

Story
Teddy is a sweet and chill pup. I rescued him from an elderly couple in the North Georgia Mountains and gave him a health makeover in May 2020. The vet guessed his age, and lately they are saying he is likely 9ish. We are looking for a new owner who prefers an older dog who enjoys occasionally being outside and going for walks on the shorter side but mostly likes relaxing. In my experience he does not do well with young children if they grab at him or touch him a certain way and now that we have a 5-month old, we want to make sure both our baby and Teddy are in the best situation, so he would probably do best in a home with adults/teens. We could provide many of his items for quality owners (bed, toys, clothes, blanket, etc.)
