Looking for a new home. He is a great dog. Listens really well, loyal, smart, loves to play catch, and protective. Ollie has recently tried to bite a person that got too close to our daughter. (Protective instinct) needs a bit more training so this does not happen again. He is only 1 year old. 12/5/2022 is his birthday. Super loving, you do need to win him over at first but just some affection and love wins him over immediately. Very food motivated. If you tell him a command he listens even if he doesn’t want to. Will never stray far from his family. Such a huge personality and loves to snuggle.

Story

Our dog Maximus has always been a sweet, mild mannered dog. He's house trained and never caused any problem. However, now he's 14yo and suffers from incontinence. He pees and poos in the house even though I let him out almost every two hours. I used to be remote work. However, starting next week, I will be required to come in at least 3 days a week. I can't leave him in the house by himself with the (3) other dogs that I have. He will be leaving his urine and feces all other the house with the other three dogs at risk of walking all over his wastes. He also mostly sleeps now. The second he feels any of the 3 dogs are coming near him, he barks constantly. He's never bitten anyone. He's always been a sweet, mild tempered dog. I just can't keep him at his current phase. He also has a hard time walking now, and can only walk about a block and he's tired. He also has a large fat deposit on his right shoulder which probably contributes to him having a hard time walking.

Lily was left with me after a pet sitting job. Her owner did not want her back. After much debate we tried to keep her in our family. This had gone pretty well until suddenly she has decided she no longer wants to get along with my 2 larger male dogs. Everyone is fixed and they have been together for years so I really don't understand. Lily loves walks and the ball. She's got a lot of energy much like a beagle. She carries a lot of the beagle characteristics. She's a very sweat girl with people and smaller animals. She's fully vaccinated and has had annual bloodwork every year she has been with me. I personally had her spayed and microchipped. I have records for everything including records from the breeder stating she's a "buggle" - beagle English bulldog cross. I want lily to go to a home where she can have a more dog like life and be comfortable in her living situation which unfortunately is no longer with me. Adopt fee negotiable

Maverick is 2 year old, and weighs 39 lbs. He is very energetic. He is a sweet boy who loves to play and run. He doesn’t like to be in a kennel, but cannot be trusted alone in the house yet, as he likes to chew, like puppies do. He has had herding tendencies with small children, and will herd if you run. He would be a good companion dog to play with in the yard until he can be trained to walk properly on a leash. He is an escape artist when it comes to harnesses and collars while on leash. Story

Bruno is an energetic boy. He likes to jump over baby gates and might be a good candidate for agility. He’s pretty smart. Bruno would do well in a home with no other dogs, cats, or kids. He knows sit, shake, and down. He chooses to sleep on the second shelf of our laundry room wire rack. This is where we keep extra bedding. He likes his people but he is cautious at first. He doesn’t like having things taken away so we trade for something he likes more. We feed him in his room by himself. He would rather eat alone. He has not shown any desire to herd, but will chase birds when he sees one. Not sure about other small animals, but it’s safe to assume he quite possibly would. He seeks out attention when he wants it and we don’t fuss with him unless he does. When he doesn’t want to go in his room, he will sit down strike. I offer him treats on the way to his room and he will usually follow me in. He’s got some quirks, but he’s a great dog. Bruno takes a little while to get to know someone. He must be introduced to the same person several times from a distance. Once he gets to know them, he behaves well. We walk him every day in our semi-rural area, where there are very few cars and not a lot of people. He’s not the city type. He will sometimes bolt for a small animal when he sees one with little warning. He would rather not be hugged or kissed, but enjoys petting while he sits at your feet. He is very cautious when you take off his harness. He does a play bow when we put it on. He likes to sleep on the second shelf of my laundry room rack. I put blankets on it to make him comfortable.
