He is a VERY smart boy who knows a lot of commands such as sit, stay and bang! And because he is SO smart we believe whoever opens their home to him could break him of this habit. Are you searching for your best friend? Look no further than Frannie! Frannie is a snuggly, curious girl. Whether she is playing with other dogs or soaking up all the love she is sure to wiggle her way into your heart in no time! Faith is a former outside kennel dog, but is THRIVING in her foster home! Faith is food motivated which will help her learn all the new things her family to be will want to teach her. She is also very gentle when taking those treats! She is fully potty trained and is happy to go into her crate (as long she is getting some treats)! This smart pup is working so hard, she has mastered sit! Now this smart gal is working on her very best leash manners! We do think Frannie would do best with another dog to help her build up her confidence and she loves having a companion to play with, check out her videos on our FB page. She does take a minute to warm up to people, but once she does she loves them! You won't be able to resist all this cuteness especially when Frannie is covering you with puppy kisses. Frannie is being fostered in the Algonquin area and would love to see you at a private meet and greet with an approved application!

Meet Lincoln....... Lincoln is an adorable young boy, thought to be a Border Collie Mix. Like Border Collies, he’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At age 9 months, he weighs 38 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of his adult weight, but our best guess is about 40ish lbs. This handsome boy joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. He is thought to have been born around December 23, 2022. He was a scared little puppy when entering our rescue program but has come out of his shell and has evolved into a playful, sociable, and somewhat mischievous boy. Lincoln is great with dogs outside of his foster home, but can be protective of his home and human, indoors. Most likely Lincoln would prefer being an only dog, receiving all the attention he deserves. However he could to ok with a calm easy-going female. He would probably be far too energetic for a senior (dog or human!) An ideal family for Lincoln is one able to assimilate the energy of a young boy into its lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Lincoln to be his best self! A secure, above-ground fenced yard is important. Lincoln would not thrive as an apartment dweller. Lincoln is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is on heartworm preventative. He is neutered and microchipped as well. . Libby is sure a unique-looking young girl; how can anyone not love her huge ears!! She is thought to be an Australian Kelpie Mix (possibly with Bull Terrier). She weighs about 30 lbs. Her estimated date of birth is June 5th 2023. Libby is a typical puppy, very energetic and playful. She likes to jump and can sometimes forget herself and be a little too rough with other dogs. But….…she is young and needs to learn boundaries and manners in order to evolve into a wonder family member with a forever family she so deserves.. This sweet pup likes playing with other dogs; she’s great with dogs and would enjoy the companionship of another dog in the home. Most likely, a young or middle-aged adult dog would prefer his company much more so than a senior dog. An ideal family for Libby is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Libby to be her best self! A secure fenced yard is required; another younger or middle-aged pup in the family could also be advantageous. Libby is crate-trained and is working hard to improve her house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Her spay is included in her adoption fee.
