Story
**Long stay $75 adoption special!** Are you looking for a lifetime goofy partner? Meet Growlithe! He's a georgeous shepherd mix, thought to be about 6 years old and 70 lbs. We don't know much about Growlithe's life before Brave since he was a stray at an overcrowded Texas shelter. Growlithe won the hearts of the shelter staff with his puppy dog eyes and obsession with tennis balls. He has been through a lot of stress and change in these last few months, but give him a little time and space to adjust and he will be your number one companion. Growlithe needs a cat-free home but does get along well with other dogs. He loves nothing more than playing fetch so if you're able to do that, you'll be golden. You'll be our hero if you give Growlithe his forever home - he is so deserving of a family of his own!  House trained: YesLeash trained: YesKennel trained: Yes - kenneled at night and while fosters are at work Rides well in a car: YesGood with other dogs: Yes, with a proper introduction Good with cats: NoGood with young children (under 10): No, due to size, but would be fine with older kids!Barks: Not reallyApartment qualified: No due to size and energyHealth concerns or special needs: None We believe this dog is a Shepherd mix and was born around 1-19-2018. **Long stay $75 adoption special!** Meet Roe! This girl is full of energy and spends her evenings playing and stealing toys from her foster brother. Roe is fully house trained and sleeps through the night in her kennel without a peep. She loves walking on a leash but a fenced in backyard would be ideal as she loves to explore and run the whole yard! She is highly motivated for treats and often runs to her kennel when she sees the treat bag out.  She knows how to sit, and is working on stay and down. Roe is a flexible gal but would do great with another fur dog friend who loves to play.  House trained: YesLeash trained: YesKennel trained: YesRides well in a car: Yes Good with other dogs: YesGood with cats: Briefly met a cat on-leash and had a strong desire to chaseGood with young children (under 10): Has not been around them but we think she'd do well with dog-savvy kids Shy or confident: ConfidentBarks: NoApartment qualified: No Health concerns or special needs: none We believe Roe is mixed breed and was born around 2-21-2022. **Long stay $75 adoption special!** This handsome boy is Blaze! Blaze is a fun, energetic, and klutzy boy. He’ll keep you laughing with his antics. Blaze loves toys and chewing on bones. He enjoys going on walks and playdates with other dogs. Most of all he’s happiest to be with his person. He does great with other dogs and is a great patio dog for heading out to restaurants, breweries, or wineries! He hasn’t found anyone he doesn’t like. Blaze gets along well with children and dogs. He is potty trained and crate trained. Since Blaze is still young, and high energy he would benefit from further training. Story
*Available for adoption early July* Tot came to us with his brother Tater from an accidental litter. He is a typical young puppy who loves to play, especially with your feet as you walk! Tot is more independent than his brother but still adores attention from people and his foster siblings. After romping around with his brother, he will find your lap to lay in and sleep. Tot is doing very well with kennel training, and we are continuing to work on potty training. As a typical young puppy, he still has accidents and will need continued training in his new home. He is fostered with dogs and cats and loves them both. Tot has also enjoyed social interactions and loves the attention of all people! Story
Tater came to us with his brother Tot from an accidental litter. Tater is a typical young puppy who loves to play and craves attention and cuddles. Unlike his more independent brother, Tater prefers to be around people. After a short play session with his brother and foster siblings, he often falls asleep in our laps. He is spunky, sassy, and very attention-driven.  Tater is doing well in his kennel with his brother nearby. Although he starts off unhappy and vocal, he settles down pretty quickly. We are working on potty training, but as a typical young puppy, he still has accidents, so his forever home will need to continue the training. Tater loves people, dogs, and cats. He is very outgoing and has already enjoyed multiple social interactions where he loves being the center of attention! Story
Meet Skip! Skip is a sweet and sensitive pup looking for his forever family. He would thrive in more of a calm, quiet home where he can take his time to adjust to new people and situations. Though Skip can be shy initially, he becomes a happy and laid-back companion once he feels comfortable. Skip loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. He gets along well with other dogs but is also content entertaining himself. He's crate trained and making great progress with potty training. He has herding tendencies, so we recommend no cats and older children. Skip enjoys neighborhood walks and, when he's sleepy, makes a wonderful cuddle buddy for watching TV. Please give this shy boy a chance to be part of your family!
